TownePlace Suites by Marriott San Antonio Downtown Riverwalk

The breakfast was awesome both days!

The noise level from the cars below. Non-stop noise until about 2 a.m. The price for parking was exhorbitant ($100 for two nights) and they only allowed valet parking.

It is ideally located for walking the River Walk and downtown districts

People were very friendly and accommodating. Extra Towels when ask and directions and recommendations when ask

Carpet in 517 was torn and it was an older hotel than I thought I was booking.

Cleanliness, customer service, parking

Excellent location! Two blocks from the Alamo and Riverwalk.

The lobby and common areas were exceptionally clean. Our room was mostly clean, but there were baby ants periodically in the doorway and in the bathroom. The mattress on our bed seemed very worn and uncomfortably springy. website pictures are deceiving.

room was dated, furniture worn, windows had no curtains, lacked exercise facility, not up to usual Marriott/Bonvoy standards, I would be embarrassed to bring someone back to hotel.

Great location, super helpful staff (love the new Bon Voy app, and chat assist), decent amenities.

Had the breakfast twice, it was great one morning, gross the next...Not sure; also a hot tub would be a great addition :)

Close to Riverwalk and Alamo

Noise, loud music, loud drunk people, loud cars. Could not find enough quiet time to go to sleep until 4am. The worst I have ever experienced!!

They charged me extra just for parking.

The location was great.

The bed was AWFUL. My boyfriend and I did not sleep hardly at all because of the bed. We ended up checking out a night early because we couldn¿t even stand the thought of trying to muster a second night in the bed in our room.

The staff was excellent checked us in and out, very informed and kind. For a Marriot the breakfast was not great, coffee was ok too. Was expecting a better breakfast for the name Marriott. Room was very comfortable & repair to phone quick.

The location was one block from the Alamo and the same distance to the Riverwalk.

Breakfast was horrible and no matter what time you tried to get food it always looked like they were running out of food. They had no forks so they provided sporks. How cheap! This is not what to expect of the Marriott brand.

There was no free breakfast. The pool and gym were closed. The bed was uncomfortable, and the sofa bed was falling apart. The sofa bed mattress needs to be replaced. Parking was outrageous at $35.00 a day. It pays to stay directly on the river walk.

Locations the hotel was good clean, friendly staff.

The amenities were close due to covid. I specially wanted the pool as it was a very hot day.

Clean, pretty much it

No ice machines except first floor / they had been removed. No breakfast, work out room or pool due to ¿COVID¿ probably more to boost profit since other hotels were back to full service. PARKING cost is ridiculous, 40 dollars a day and tip for curb side.

Location is great. Walking distance to the alamo and river.

Bed skirt towards headboard had build of trash and hair, shower handle was loose , toilet roll holder broken and small ants in bathroom,got bit on foot using bathroom. That's all.

Valet service

The bed was small, was supposed to be a king size bed, it was not bolted to the ground and was Flimsy. As soon as I sat on the bed the top of the bed lifted from the floor

The location

The hotel wasn't the cleanest. Shower door didn't close and the window leaked. Also they charged me for a service animal.
