Comfort Suites Alamo/River walk

The staff

Advertised a working hot tub. But it was not working. It was out of order

Comfort Inn Suites Riverwalk San Antonio has HUGE rooms, comfortable beds, good free breakfast, was very clean overall, and I recommend. There were minor issues (peeling wallpaper, slow to drain bathtub) that I ignored for the price. Great value!

Look up the exact location if you are planning to walk to the Riverwalk, the Alamo or the downtown area. Also, there is a homeless population that lives on the next street over, but there were no issues with them. Lastly, the parking fee is not included.

The location was great and the hotel was super clean and the staff was very nice

The staff and free breakfast. The rooms were very nice but we did have issues with the sink not draining and no lamps in another room.

There were several things but the staff did there best to make up for the glitches.

Not enough seats for breakfast, rooms are dirty sheets and covers dirty room had a smell

Location

No Vending Machines. No Water or no carbonated beverages to sale. Empty. No working ice machine on the floor. Lost water pressure on bath/ shower.

Very nice hotel. Staff very helpful and courteous.

Didn¿t feel safe at night. Parking was under the freeway. Just not comfortable in the neighborhood.

The receptionist was very nice and helpful.

Breakfast was very good.

Hot water was a problem.

Not much to be honest

It took forever to check in, the guy was upset because I disturbed his dinner. The description of the room was off, states that there is dvd players in the rooms and there isn’t. The one the guy gave us didn’t work. The tv channels where every limited and most of them was just Audio with no picture. The ac didn’t work well. The beds would make a loud noise every time you would move. The shower curtain was ripped.

Staff was great and it was perfect location for us.

Old, dirty rooms. Peeling wall paper bathtub couldn’t be used only shower. Dirty floor scared to even use the sofa bed.

Location! Close to River walk

The tv had apps you had to logInto, couldn't just watch like normal. The pillows were not comfortable. The music playing during breakfast , 8:30 am was inappropriate...salt and peppa push it and rap...not professional or tailored to the crowd and setting...very odd

How close it was to the frost arena

The parking since I paid for parking but don’t get to park right in front where there’s cameras

breakfast was absolutely phenomenal.The room was very spacious and well upkept.the distance to all the amenities was perfect.

Price of room affordable, room accommodations very good, & parking close to entrance.

Only the time they took to have my room ready, since I was a little early to check in.

I feel like it was advertised to be on the river walk, loosely, that we wouldnt have a 1/2 mi walk just to get to the riverwalk. We turned our refrigerator down before we left to go get lunch, knowing we would bring back leftovers. Went to eat dinner about 7 hours later and came back to put those leftovers in the fridge, only to discover the fridge was no longer cooling and we had some expensive leftovers that were most likely not safe to eat.

The price for the location. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was extremely nice. All staff was nice and helpful.

I liked the location, the staff, and the food. Although it was a bit old and needed some maintenance, and every touch on the wallpaper in the foyer. It was still okay on the eyes.

I didn’t like seeing the multiple water damage in the foyer and other parts of the hotel.
