Cambria Hotel McAllen Convention Center

This is the 3rd time there is an incident at the Cambria. 1- evacuation due to fire alarms 2- low water pressure (couldn’t shower 3 - last night the air conditioning went out for 3hrs. Ilately is been mor of an inconvenience to stay there.

The beds are confortable.

No amenities coffee restock, no enogh bath towels. Breakfast is not included.

It had everything and a good rate. Hot tub was hot, pool was clean and nice and possible to swim laps, had dinner available, and a beer before bedtime also.

I always stay here when in McAllen,TX

Major scare! The hotel's fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. Imagine they had teams for a softball tournament staying here and all people were evacuated. Took the MCFD a good while to clear the hotel. Major setback for everyone.

Comfortable bed

Coffee grounds found on floor behind toilet and couch areas; unclean

Great location, very clean, staff was amazing.

There was not.

Very clean modern

Had a large group of who knows what nation very rude crazy loud all night managers did nothing

This is a great hotel! Its perfectly situated next to the convention center, shopping, great restaurants, and they give you awesome service.

The location Really that was about it.

Lack of attention to cleanliness of the bes sheets. We were ready to go to sleep and wife discovered several big spots of blood. I mean very noticeable. That means that they did not chanced the sheets. And also the breakfast was horrible

The rooms are always spacious and staff is friendly. We also love staying here because of its location to great restaurants and shopping.

Comfortable bed, Spacious Room, Bluetooth mirror in bathroom Plenty of spacious parking

Clean and moder

I called BEFORE booking to ask if the hot tub worked, and I was told yes. After arriving and going to the hot tub with swimsuits on with my 3 kids, we are shocked that the hot tub is ice cold. The hot tub didn¿t work all weekend and we were disappointe

Staff took over thirty minutes to get me checked in at 9PM. Bed was like sleeping in the hills and valleys. Needs new bed.

Location

The bed was like sleeping in a ditch! The front desk said they were planning on getting new beds but it was way past due.

Comfortable bed, spacious room & cleanliness, central location

The water pressure was very weak; hot water wouldn't stay on for long

The staff is very friendly. The rooms were all clean. The bathroom mirror with built-in bluetooth speaker was an unexpected, pleasant surprise! Was able to enjoy a spa-like shower! Andres in the on-site restaurant was awesome!

There was no fresh fruit included on the breakfast buffet.

The location was good.

The bed was horrible. There was a huge dip on one side of the king bed. My husband has a bad back and this dip did not help. People stay at hotels for rest. Beds should be the first thing checked and replaced.

We had issues with sounds in the walls that interrupted our first night¿s rest. We were moved to another room only to be told the AC was ¿locked¿ and only a shift manager could help but until the next day. We were given a carpet drying fan.

Had a wonderful bar area and the bartender was terrific.

1. It is in the flight path of the airport. As such, there was an almost constant drone of airplane jets. 2. On Thursday night, it sounded as though they were doing construction in the room above me. It started again on Friday morning @ 4:30am.

Staff.

Charged $100 incidental fees when I should¿ve been refunded. Talked to a staff member and they sent receipts assuring me they did not charge me, waited a couple days called my bank and they DID charge my card for $100.
