Hampton Inn & Suites McKinney

The hot breakfast was a nice surprise! The food offered was more than adequate and the morning staff were truly polite. And my husband appreciated the cold a/c temps in our room!

I always stay at Hampton Inns, they are clean, well kept up, not run down. The staff is Awesome, it is almost impossible to find professional, knowledgeable, courtesy people with great customer?s service. My hat is off to the employees of Hampton Inn!!!

The ice machine was not working on the 4th floor!!!

The bed was terrible as it was hard. My wife ended up sleeping on the sofa and I woke up with a sore back after a restless nights sleep. Its difficult to park in the evenings due to the nearby. restaurants. if you get a room facing the highway its noisy.

Parking is difficult, plus rooms are very noisy. With the people directly above us, we could hear every footstep plus the family in the room next to us had kids singing, so room is definetly not constructed for quietness! Also the room was over priced.

The young man at the desk was helpful and polite.

The hotel was old, outlets were "lose" did not hold plugs or did not work at all.

Extremely sketchy area around the complex. Did not feel safe coming in alone at 10pm

Side entrance was never locked - anyone could come in at any time. Room tv had a few mysterious white "dots" on the screen that was a bit distracting. Tub to shower knob could use some work. No microwave in room

The breakfast was great.

The room looked a bit run down. Scuff marks on the wall, loose shower head, blinking overhead light in the bathroom needed to be replaced, the frodoor hinge had to be adjusted so the frontdoor would shut properly.

Yes mattress not up to the usual Hampton Inn "experience". Yes it was a Serta, but not the comfortable ones we love so much. Woke up with backaches. Breakfast was poor. Ran out of coffee, french toast sticks were hard (seem like been recycled) eggs ug

I do not know who to hold responsible for my room not getting cleaned everyday. First I had requested that my room be cleaned everyday. When my room was not getting cleaned, I requested the front desk to have my room cleaned, but never got it cleaned.

Clean n good exit to a hwy

I pay a extra to get this hotel !! So i can enjoy the pool n jacuzzi??? N Nader one was available!!! So it was not worth the extra $$$ for me in this hotel

The room was very clean and the bathroom was very clean, too. The premises and the area around the hotel was well kept. Even though there was no visible security, we just felt safe during our visit.

The rate has risen approximately 62% since my last visit. As recall I paid around $--- before here and this time I paid About $--- The front desk wanted to charge me an additional $20 for"incidentals" on check in without explanation. I refused.

Staff was very friendly and the place was clean.

They fraudulently charged my credit card after my stay. Then I was unable to get ahold of anyone at this location after multiple attempts and even after the corporate representative attempted to reach out to them. My bank is investigating them for fraud.

Good location. Clean and fresh. Newer linens. Great (healthy) breakfast.

Lack of staff interest in our questions at front desk for check in. There was NO ONE at or near the desk when we left the hotel -- even after waiting 10 minutes at the desk

The breakfast was great.

It was so loud! There were people slamming doors in the hall and yelling in the hall and I got woken up several times.

We love the bright white spread used on the bed. It looks so clean. In general the room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The location was a little difficult to get to at first. It is behind a couple of restaurants that are along a one way street. The back way in was even more difficult. Once we got used to it though it was okay.

Had a fridge but no microwave

I don't mean to sound like I am so easy to please, but the hotel and room were very clean and comfortable. The hotel is situated in an area with stores, restaurants, and fast food at your fingertips. Great staff! 4*

They had the soupiest, runniest oatmeal I have ever approached. The cell reception waxed and waned in the room.
