Holiday Inn & Suites McKinney - N Allen by IHG

Spacious room

Guest brought a roach to show desk clerk upon our arrival. Breakfast charge was $9.99 plus tax per person.

Location

First room smelled moldy,we were able to change rooms, and the second room had a broken coffee maker and a dirty bathroom floor.

Cleanliness

Toilet handle was broke and Toilet constantly running all night. Shower curtain was not big enough to cover the shower

Location

The bathroom had mold and the shower was cracked. The floor to the bathroom was very uneven at the door and was unsafe. Many updates needed in the room. It was very loud.

Large room, well appointed

Maintenance issues (door hard to close), mold/mildew in shower. Pair touch-ups don't match original paint and look terrible. No silverware, only dishes. Two (?) microwaves? Hotel would be a "5" if attention-to-detail and basics performed.

Location was great and easy to get to from the highway. Room was clean and well kept.

Having to pay $10 for the same breakfast that is free at other locations.

Our family staycation was perfect. We were able to stay here after our family Thanksgiving dinner and we're glad we did. Breakfast was a wonderful touch on Friday morning. Our family had a blast. We'll definitely stay here again on our next staycation.

Everything! So nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was so nice.

The staff was not friendly at all. It felt like we were bothering them by being there. We were even told there was going to be a large loud party until 11pm so expect noise.

I checked out 1 day early and they would not refund me for the night that I didn¿t stay there. I would not recommend staying here. Also my room was even vacuum, there was crumbs on the floor.

Location.

Breakfast did not start till 7:30. I saw numerous guests who had to leave before that time. What a shame to not get the benefit of a breakfast that was included in the value of the hotel. I strongly suggest an earlier start time for breakfast on weeken

Location

The description had a hot tub, there was not.The cont. breakfast was not included. I asked at the front desk to have our room cleaned, we were out all day and we came back to a dirty room. I awoke at 6:45 to someone trying to get in my room.

Hotel was quiet and the view was beautiful! Because we¿re from California, fall foliage is hardly visible, and we definitely got it in McKinney. Great storage space. Furniture suit our needs. Friendly staff. Multiple entries to our room.

Housekeeping Card was difficult to understand. We went 2 days without clean sheets and towels. After two attempts staff couldn¿t get my key card to work. Fridge froze all our food. Shower floor creaked loudly. Light switches in bathroom were faulty

Location

They didn't clean your room, you had to ask everyday for Breakfast coupon, Breakfast was cold hard waffles or burnt bacon, they didn't clean rooms, you had to keep going to desk to get towels, TOILETS SO LOW not good for knees, or seniors

Good location. Close to many stores and restaurants. Easy access from the freeway.

The swimming pool is indoors and is Freezing! The bathroom in our room had no fan. The shower leaked all over the floor. Needs some upkeep.

Staff was very friendly and worked with us on a booking issue. Very clean room and restroom.

The room smelled really bad. It wasn¿t clean. The room door barely shut. I did not receive my deposit back.

Price was good, Suite size was good, bed was very comfortable.

The room was not as clean as it should have been. Sunflower seeds were on the floor and there was a bloodstain on the bed comforter. Closet doors are in bad need of paint. Loud Mexican music playing in the rear parking lot and pot smoking. Thin walls!

They have a nice swimming pool

They charged me for breakfast which i normally get for free when i book a room.

The bar area was nice and the bar tender was friendly.

The room just felt dirty. This hotel has went downhill quickly from our last stay.

Breakfast and staff

carpet was extremely dirt. If you walk barefoot in the room and then get in the shower you will see how dirty it is
