The Angler, Ascend Hotel Collection

Good gym, nice staff, decent breakfast.

The exterior lighting was poor and the sign was not lit up so we had a hard time finding the hotel and once we did it looked so dark we wondered if it was still in business.

The staff! The whole team were great and so attentive, best customer service I've experienced in quite some time.

The AC in the room is loud, but it worked well.

Only breakfast options were boiled eggs, oatmeal, & coffee.

Clean and comfortable. Very quiet. Slept great.

No decent breakfast. Only oatmeal. Comfort Inn offers a variety of muffins, dry cereal, and lots more.

The attendant seem to be asleep when I check in and showed a look of superiority while communicating with me

There were roaches in the bathroom, loud AC unit and room was small, I will not be using this hotel in the future.

No soap, shampoo, towels and staff not helpful

The young man at the desk was not knowledgeable about any questions that I had, there was no soap, shampoo or towels.

Absolutely nothing

location has been "remodeling" for at least 3 years. No work is being done. The entire hotel is in disrepair. There are things glued together in the rooms. Broken lampshades, tile, a/c. No ice machines. No shampoo or tissues in room. Craphole deluxe

Remodeling that has been promised via posters of what was to be done is now at least 3-4 years old. This location is now one of the worst in the chain. Very worn inside. Smells of dampness. Doors damaged. Carpet worn. Same 2nd floor ice machine brok

2 hours to fill the Jacuzzi 1/3 of the way full. Refrigerator sounded like an out of balance washing machine. The maintenance personnel decided to cut water pipe in the hallway with a grinder at 7am right outside our door.

The room was great & breakfast very good.

Location is somewhat difficult to find. Better signage would greatly help.

The pictures of the pool were deceiving. It was TINY. Finding the hotel was challenging.

The service here was well above what I was expecting.We had REALLY wanted a room with 2 queens but none had been available(4th July weekend). They actually called "no-shows" that night to see if a room with 2 queens would be free for us. GREAT service!

The hotel is a bit difficult to get to. You have to take a convoluted route to get there with a couple of U-turns. My GPS did not give correct directions. Frustrating.

Actually the office staff was very nice and did their best to help me find a clean room.

The rooms were not up to Hampton quality experiences in the past. Not vacuumed , questionable bedding in the first room, etc...

The staff was very courteous and the rooms were very clean.

Reserved a King accommodated room with jetted spa tub. The tub spa did not work, the clock radio in the room did not work, the HD TV did not work and the mini fridge did not work. Supervisor was unable to move me to another room or fix any of the issues

We used our Bank Debit card and the clerk who checked us in helped themselves to our numbers and accounts. a total of 4 Military Families had their info taken and used. If you are checking in use cash. Manager didn't seem concerned she can't prove who.
