Sonesta Essential IAH Airport JFK Boulevard

Location was good.

Half the hotel looked abandoned, dark, and creepy. The elevator was not working, (I was on the 3rd floor). I was told not to park far from the front doors because there have been break in's. The beds were squeaky. Never Again.

The low cost was a great draw for my budget, and the location was great for our travel needs. I rented 2 rooms for my family and they were able to give me adjoining rooms so that was nice. Beds were comfortable, room and AC were nice. No planes at night.

The cable tv wouldn't work my 2nd night there. The bkfst that was put out included a waffle maker, dry cereal, and bread. I thought it was going to be a continental style but there was no eggs, meat, etc. Paint peeling off walls, staircases old and loose.

Nice clean hotel with friendly girl up front, great stay!

The Country and Suites had a great staff. I like the location. The lobby has a quaint appearance. The hot breakfast was good. Good variety. Hot water for tea. I like the location of my room. It gave me great access to the lobby and the ice machine.

The property on the whole was very rundown and in need of major maintenance. The carpets and floors were worn and tattered. The televisions in the rooms were okay, but the channels and the pictures were barely watchable. The shower didn't work in my room
