Hampton Inn Cotulla

Location

Not one to complain about hot water, but that¿s all we had in the room. No cold or coolish water. That may be because of outside temperature, 110 degrees in daytime. Also it¿s a bit dated.

Truly the most friendly and helpful staff. Very clean throughout. When I was held up on a work location for several hours the staff let my wife stay in the room until I returned. I couldn’t thank them enough for their generosity.

The floors are not kept very clean (rooms and hall. This is an oil field hotel so the dirt and grime that is tracked in is difficult to clean, regardless they (Hilton) know this is an oilfield hotel and should do extra to ensure its cleanliness.

Room 103 had the hardest bed I have ever slept in. Got maybe 4hrs of sleep. The manager needs to just go sit on it and will know how hard it is. Lay in it 5min you will want to get up.

Our stay was Awesome, everything was clean, staff was friendly, our beds and pillows were super comfortable, we fell asleep right away. Woke up well rested and our breakfast in the morning was delicious!

Furniture in rooms are wore out and tore up. Shower in room needed attention.

Middle of nowhere and safe area

They remodeled a lot and the shampoo other hygiene items kept falling from the shower so it wasn’t adhered correctly

Due to construction, public areas (hallways, elevators) were less than clean. Probably temporary, though. Previous visits have been fine.

Staff accidentally double charged me for the room. They attempted to resolve it themselves, but were unable to with their own system. Had to dispute the charge on the credit card. Happy ending, but a bit of extra trouble.

I stayed for a week while working in Cotulla. The building was less than a mile from my work place. The staff was friendly when I checked in just barely after 3 pm. It was really quiet at night. At a glance everything looked clean. I very much appreciated that the room key worked for the entire week. Usually after a day or two it needs to be reset. When it came time to check out, they called my room to see if I needed more time and I thought that was nice. The bed was very comfortable and I didn’t wake up with a back ache like other places. I was a female traveling alone and i felt fairly safe but I didn’t wander around. Everything was good except the cleanliness. I’m undecided if I’ll stay there again.

I stayed for a week while working in Cotulla. I used a personal card to reserve the room but wanted to actually pay with a company card but I ended up having to pay for it and be reimbursed which is aggravating because either they could not or would not change the credit card from the one I made reservations with. When I got to my room, I noticed that housekeeping was vacuuming the rooms near mine and it went on for about an hour. I travel with ziplock bags and Lysol wipes. The remote was filthy so it went into s ziplock bag. The nightstand was very dirty. While at a glance everything looked clean most every surface I wiped resulted in the Lysol wipe turning brown. Parking lot was small and the hotel was full. I’m undecided if I’ll stay there again.

Although hotel was busy and fully booked, rooms were quiet. No outside noise at all.

The air didn’t work, key didn’t work, no usb chargers tv trouble!

The location and cleanliness of the rooms. The staff was helpful both day and night staff.

The boxed breakfast but understand due to COVID-19 not traditional breakfast can be made.
