    Pros +

    • Proximity to Texas A&M campus, comfy & clean bed, nice shower, night light in bathroom, clean bathroom, sides & bottpm of window shades did good job of blocking outside light but the top let more light in.
    • Comfortable bed and pillows
    • The staff

    Cons -

    • Doors let a lot of hallway noise in (and neighbor's alarm), not very spacious, sliding barn style bathroom door, harsh white lights yet room felt dim. Looked under construction still, felt dirty even though it was clean. Hard floors (w/paint splatter too)
    • It's underconstrution, industrial/institutional vibe puts one at ease, odd furnishings in room. Breakfast with no coffee and crunchy bananas, etc.
    • This hotel is not a 3.5 star hotel. There is a lot of construction going on and lots of amenities are closed. The construction has brought a lot of noise to the hotel. The rooms are old and outdated. The rooms were not very clean and the sheets ripped.

    Location, smell, boutique feel

Under construction. Gym closed due to construction. Construction happening in the lobby. Definitely affected the experience, but I get it!

    4Verified guestPosted on: 11-26-2024

    Friendly staff

The hotel is under major construction. Dont think the star rating is accurate.

    Conveniently located close to campus

Very clearly a low budget remodel of an aging mid-tier property. The wallpaper was peeling from a low quality install. The light fixtures and all the bright work had corrosion easily visible on all of them. The water pressure was very low.

friendly front desk staff, breakfast and proximity to Texas A&M

I stayed two nights, and they did not clean my room or change my towels and sheets.

    7JodyPosted on: 9-24-2024

    Staff was great

I was charge a pet fee but there is no where to take my dog to potty.

    Location

Staff at front desk was rude. From parking lot to room was filthy.

    6Jo EttaPosted on: 8-8-2024

The front desk staff were nice and welcoming.

I did not like the people hanging outside of the hotel. I did not like how loud the lobby was at night. I also did not like the appearance of the common area in the hotel.

    Location,theme, clean

Saturday morning I wasn't breakfast available and no option to replace it.

    4Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 2-21-2024

    it was fairly clean

First, my Express choice was for a 3.5 start hotel and the Aggieland Boutique is barely rated a 3. The TV didn't work in the room or the exercise room, the staff acted like it was an inconvenience to them, the breakfast was horrible.

    6JamesPosted on: 2-18-2024

The location was close to Texas A&M which is where I had meetings for the day. They have a large parking lot.

This looks like a hotel that was renovating but ran out of money to finish the renovation. The exterior signage isnt lit. I arrived at night and wasnt sure if the hotel was still open.

    6KellyPosted on: 1-24-2024

Bed and pillows were new and comfortable. The ladies working down stairs were nice she was excellent.

Water pressure in the shower was terrible. Wall paper peeling off the walls no laundry facilities. Over priced room in my honest opinion. I wouldnt recommend this hotel unless the rooms were $--- per night or less.

    6JeannettePosted on: 12-18-2023

    Location was excellent. Breakfast included.

Updated but still very old and dirty in many areas.

    10KimberlyPosted on: 10-30-2023

Friendly staff, great location. Cute lobby and bar area. Also a nice free breakfast.

    6AnnPosted on: 10-2-2023

Breakfast was included. Lobby area is nice during the day. At night it is too dimly lit. King bed was comfortable. Pillows were good.

Room lighting was very poor. Bunk bed was rickety and uncomfortable. Shower had mold. Hallways were poorly painted and looked beat up even though I think they were recently painted. Overall cheaply remodeled. Sink missing stopper. Looks like 2 star hotel.

    8JamalPosted on: 8-20-2023

The location is great, and the breakfast was good too.

I did not like the dark parking lot in the back. If we were in a big city I would be worried about my truck.

    1Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-20-2023

    Nothing really.

Night lights by the bed not working. A/C could not be adjusted, pillows were too high and only one person at the front desk to take care of all guests.

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 6-9-2023

    Great location, cool concept

The hotel needs a lot of updates. Some things were updated but others not. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was nice. Floors need work and the elevators, stairs and hallways. It was an older hotel they are renaming and somewhat fixing up.
