Breakfast was very marginal and the ice maker was out of ice and the 2nd one was not working.
The room was at least 90 degrees in the room when we checked in at 8pm. There was no way the air conditioning was going to cool that room down for us to get any sleep. Then we saw cockroaches crawling on the wall. We packed up and left.
Not ever able to access wifi. Check in was extremely slow. The employee said the computer was really slow. I could believe it due to the internet issues I experienced.

The bed was full of lumps and hard as a rock, and the shower did not drain
Clean room. Ac worked great. Stayed away from the main road which can be loud at times.
Found a used bar of soap still in the shower. Not a huge deal, didn't report it.
It was VERY clean, really good breakfast.
The air didn¿t work. It¿s ok, as it wasn¿t that hot nor cold outside. The pet fee was a surprise. It said it was pet friendly, but didn¿t say it was more than 1/3 of the price per night. Also, the tax was insanity. It wasn¿t a bargain at all.
This hotel surprised me. Outside looked a little rough, but that's just small town Texas. The inside was way above expectations.
The room was clean
The front desk person who checked us in was not wearing a mask. The WIFI signal was nonexistent.
The bathroom door stuck from the inside. It was terrifying. If my wife had not been able to let me out, I have no idea what I would have done. The mattress was pathetic and very loud. Every thing else was fine.
I asked for a refund. After pulling the sheet back I found a bed bug. I packed my stuff up and left
The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was better than most.
