This 4-star resort is located on 4,000 secluded acres, a 20 minute drive from downtown Austin. The resort offers a full-service spa, 4 championship golf courses, and indoor/outdoor pools. Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa features rooms with a 42-inch flat-screen TV and in-room movies. Plush bathrobes are also provided. Guests can enjoy the spacious, modern gym with group exercise classes, personal training and an outdoor running area. Omni Barton Creek also offers 10 lighted tennis courts, lessons and group clinics. Located on site, Mokara Spa includes hair and nail salon services. There are 3 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool, and 2 hot tubs located onsite. The infinity pool overlooks hill country. - Some great staff throughout the different parts of the hotel
- Resort was amazing and relaxing. Staff was great, friendly and helpful! Our room was clean and welcoming w great view of the resort. There was tons to do from bar, spa, golf, swimming, dancing, resort planned daily activities. I'm planning to return!
- Staff was friendly and helpful. Pools were large enough to accommodate guests and not feel crowded.
Cons -
- There was an issue where I was charged for someone else's drinks at the pool.
- It was a cashless weekend as their cash box systems were down, so even a small item had to use a credit card
