The location was wonderful for our short 2-day business trip. We were able to walk around the downtown area, walk down by the river and across to the park. There were plenty of restaurants, night life, and shopping. We felt safe in the area around the hotel.
The room size was a bit cramped. This was offset by a nice view and lovely amenities within the room (e.g., automatic blinds, wonderful shower with strong water pressure, nicely scented soaps, and Apple TV enable TV). There was plenty of storage, plus a comfortable bed and pillows.

The hotel's restaurants were outstanding, offering exceptional dining experiences. The room featured modern, tasteful decor that created a comfortable and stylish atmosphere. The spacious fitness area was well-equipped with a wide variety of machines, and the spa was a delightful bonus that added to the overall relaxation.
While the hotel had many great features, cleanliness was noticeably lacking. The floors, particularly in the bathroom and along the edges of the room, felt sticky, and the bed sheets were uncomfortably rough. The fitness center was especially unclean, with a visible layer of dirt on the floor. Before using the exercise mats, I wiped them down with the provided disinfecting towelettes, which came away black—clearly indicating they hadn’t been properly cleaned. Although the front desk staff were friendly, they offered minimal guidance regarding the hotel’s facilities and directions, which made navigating the amenities a bit challenging.

Having stayed at Proper Santa Monica I definitely wanted to book this hotel. It was just as good as the Proper hotel in Santa Monica. Wonderful reception, nice drinking and dining options, fantastic food and drink, and wonderful ambience. The gym is among the best hotel gyms I have ever been to. And I'm picky about gyms!

Amazing hotel, very beautiful spaces, great staff, restaurants are delicious, the gym is amazing!
The room are pretty small for the price and the restaurants are overpriced as well...18 dollars for a green juice is too much
