The Maverick Inn

Horrible mattresses. Bed loud squeaky.dirty shower clogged shower head. Ac/ heater not working. Housekeeping no show until I complained. Furniture worn out. Garbage can outside room overflowing smelly garbage. Curtains filthy. No coffee in lobby.

The location and the lady on duty when we checked in about 4 pm on April 24.

April 24, Room 11: The refrigerator did not work, it was iced up; there was water on the floor the next morning and the ear plugs were not packaged, as if someone had worn them before. April 27 and 28, Room 25: 28th no plastic cups were available.

No staff available at check in. Went back later and keys were left at front desk.

Seemed cute, had limited time do we couldn¿t really enjoy the property.

I stayed in this hotel several years ago. It is time for some upgrades for the price! TV did not work. Heater barely worked. There was low water pressure. The shower hardly had any knobs to turn. ¿Breakfast¿ was some apples, oranges, & belvita bars

Yes. We weren’t supplied with towels except for one and no one around to help. Staff leaves in afternoon and envelope with key etc is left for you to pick up on your own. Bathroom was very tight fit, uncomfortable to use. Value for price not worth it.

Bathroom was very small BUT they made excellent use of space since this is a remodeled out motel.

Cool little vibe to this hotel in the middle of nowhere. Stopped on our way west from San Antonio for a night. Was the perfect resting spot. The pool was excellent, however it was super cold considering it was pushing 100 outside. Wasn't expecting that

Hotel room was a little smaller than I expected but we did not need it for much more than sleeping. The bathrooms however were super tiny and hard to maneuver in.

It is cute hotel with local historic style. Though the room is a little small but it is clean and comfortable, We were impressed by the stlye and the complete set and good quality bath items and there is even vintage magazine book on the table.

We did not find the Hotel at first because the sign's visibility.

The staff was kind. We arrived late and they gave us our key quickly and without hassle.

Our room's shower was tiny, the shower head wasn't working properly and neither were the faucet handles. The shower and the sink were dirty. The free breakfast was bad too, no vegetarian options. The hotel seemed way overpriced given these standards.

Charming hotel, with cozy, clean rooms. Very well appointed and super helpful staff.

The TV in the armoire had no shelf it could slide out on to be viewed from in the room. It was very difficult to watch it because the doors on the armoire kept getting in the way . . . which made watching it from bed almost useless!

The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The environment was very quiet.

The cord to the tv was too short to pull it out on the stand to turn it. The wi fi was weak and could not get on my Ipad. I did not know they had a bar and grill in it to eat dinner or breakfast.

The double room was divided by the bathroom so there some level of privacy even if you are sharing the room.

No phone in the room to get in touch with the front desk with questions.
