Motel 6 Newport, TN

Nothing! It was horrible

This hotel was horrible from walking in the service to getting to the two rooms. Walked in our rooms the doors would not lock the lock was coming off the door, the vent return cover was off of the wall, no smoke detector, dirty walls and bugs.

Room was dirty holes in walls being was trash looking stains

Nasty everywhere wasn't work 70 a night

I did not like the stay at all. The first room we got was dirty...it had never been cleaned. The second room we got the TV wouldn't work. The tub had hair in it. The bedspread had all kinds of stains on it. I will never stay here again.

The location was close to everything and the price was great. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

It needs updated and cleaned better. There was black particles blowing from the vents, the AC was not working well. It kept the room comfortable but struggled to keep it cool during the day. It was also too close to the hwy, could hear the noise.

The rooms had hardwood floors.

The bed was horrible and outdated. It had a hump in the middle, and squeaked every time you moved.

Quiet and clean.

The TV volume was very low even at the highest setting.

No coffee pot in the room and we saw roaches

A bed, a shower and a TV. That's all we wanted and that's all we got. Traveling and just needed a place to stop over for the night. Sometimes, the simple motel option is all you need. Motel 6 at Newport, TN was what we needed at the time. Great service.

Could use some updates. According to the sign on the door, that is what they are doing.

It was easy to find and relatively clean.

No hair dryer or shampoo.

Clean rooms close to highway

Towels felt like paper, rooms are very small and no fridge or microwave. No flat screen tv and that is for a motel 6 costing --- a night

The location to the interstate.

The room was small compared to others we have stayed at in this price range. The beds were very stiff, as if you was sleeping on a rock! The coffee bar was nice, but only was caffeinated coffee with powered cream and a think of sugar.

Hotel needs updating. Bedding and towels bad. Bathroom was scary.

There is no refrigerator in the room. Also no coffee maker.

VERY clean, courteous staff, it was a great experience. I expected a lot less with the price point, but I was pleasantly surprised. Worth almost twice what I paid. Will stay here again.
