Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Mt. Pleasant

Pros +

• It was not as filthy as it was dirty in spots.
• The hotel was clean & visible from a main highway. It was also just a few minutes drive from several restaurants & grocery store. It had easy access, was small, so it was not like a maze to find your room. Staff and housekeeping were polite. No theft.
• Very quiet....got a great night's sleep

Cons -

• It was not clean. It smelled bad (like mold). The tiles in the bathroom were cheap. The door to the bathroom was delaminating (plastic). The beds were uncomfortable.
• The first night was terrible. "Adult" noises were coming from all of the rooms around us. We had to shield our young child's ears when she could not sleep due to all the noises. Breakfast that was advertised was non existent. No good for hungry kids.
• The hotel was good, just needs some updating in the bathroom and the free breakfast needs to have more of a variety and tables to sit down at.
