- I am disappointed that a nice hot breakfast wasn¿t an option. It was a continental breakfast. A room coffee maker would be a nice touch as well. Overall quality was very good.

This is a charming hotel located within walking distance of most shops and restaurants on the quaint island of Block Island. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly.
There was no refrigerator in the room and the complimentary breakfast was extremely sparse. We had to specifically ask for the trash to be taken out and the towels replaced after three days. It was extremely overpriced for the type of accommodations.
Beautiful setting
The owners are phoning it in at this point. While the room was clean, the decor looks like it hasn't changed since the late 1970s. Old flower print wall paper, stained rather than painted builder's trim around doors and windows, Home Depot bathroom etc.
Breakfast was very good.
Check out was early. 10:30 . Also, the mattress was very uncomfortable and old.
Location
Considering we paid $-- per night, it would have been good to have had pillows we could sleep on, instead of one pillow that must have been there since the hotel first opened in the 80's. Continental breakfast would have been better with some fruit.
Location
Shared bath was not clean.
