Candlewood Suites York By IHG

THe Staff was very friendly and helpfull. We were greeted at the Front desk by a gentleman, who was very charming , funny and of course helpful

The coffe maker was not working very good .

Having a nice kitchenette in the room. It's so nice not to have to eat out 24/7 when staying at your hotel.

The hotel listed a community pool under the amenities, but did not have one. Also, it was great to have outdoor BBQ grills, but they need to be cleaned. The one we turned on had a lot of grease in the grease cup and that caught on fire.

The kitchen in the room

No pool no breakfast in clued

The front desk attendant tried her best to help with the situation but not much she could do about changing rooms.

The room had a foul odor when walking in. It's not someplace I would stay again.

Location no daily room service...trash, linens, towels, pool out of repair. Poor availability of coffee cups, creamers. Unruly guests

That we got to leave

It was dirty vent in bathroom floor I don¿t think were washed for sometime would get out of shower walk across floor feet would be black had no water one morning called desk said it will be back on in 20 to 20 minutes came back on know one at the desk sai

It was clean and offered shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Nice shower.

Would¿ve liked breakfast

The staff the managers are the worse ever. You wonder why the can't keep there employees because they treat them less then a person. It don't matter what someone does for a living you don't treat employees bad and especially guess. The General manager char

The room was great. Very clean, comfortable with plenty of comfort options. My wife wanted to take the pillows home, along with the bed. If it had a free continental breakfast, it would have been perfect.

Hard to find, sits back, should have a sign on the road. Free Continental breakfast are a +, but they don't offer this. They have a snack shop which is poorly stock and overpriced. If it had a free breakfast, it would be everyone's pick for this area!

The kitchen

Dirty hallway. Smelled like urine. Noisy, next to highway. Would not recommend

The location was excellent, access road was limited. Very friendly and helpful staff. We will stay the again.

No!

Good area

No water in kitchen sink or barely any in bathroom sink.

Room was very roomy, front desk staff very friendly and accommodating.

There was only one entrance into the parking lot. Close to highway so heard all the traffic. First room smelled of cigarettes so they did change our room and that room was a bit musty but doable. Most likely would not return.

We picked this hotel because it had an indoor pool for us to relax after a long day of travel. We get there and headed to the pool just to see it was closed down. We were never told that at check in even after i mentioned that¿s what we were there to do.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Quickly cleaned the road with snow.

The turn for the hotel is not clearly indicated from the main road and it is easily missed. Furniture is new but walls and fixtures are old. There was a big water stain in the ceiling of the bathroom.

The front desk staff were really, polite, kind, and attentive.

Very friendly staff

There was no breakfast. The pool was not open. Both amenities were mentioned on the website. Strong odor in the hallways.

For the price i expected it to be a lot different because there were really no pictures of what they call a "Standard Room" and when i got there it was like a small studio, , stove, fridge, coffee maker desk, chair, very spacious~!

As i did give this place 10/10 on everything i was disappointed that having stayed 2 nights my room wasn't made up for the 2nd day i was there, they never came to clean the room after the 1st night..

The location and price were great. This was a clean and spacious room, great for our needs. We enjoyed the kitchen with full-sized refrigerator/freezer.

No hairdryer available, even from the front desk. How could this be??? I've stayed in about 50 similar level hotels in the past 5-6 years, and this is the ONLY one which didn't have a hairdryer available for guests.

Bugs in room
