Courtesy. Everyone of the staff I interacted with was welcoming and friendly.

Parking lights was so bright that even with curtains closed a lot of light made it in my room.

I enjoyed the daily breakfast and nightly coffee. The seating in the breakfast area was ample.

The pathway to the pool on the outside should have been laid with concrete not portions in the grass. Volume control on the television was not good it itself was too loud. The sink area needs more storage space for toiletries.

Front desk was very helpful. She answered all my questions. Everything about the hotel, room, etc. was wonderful.

The utensils in breakfast area should be wrapped individually.

the bedding was dirty, found a long hair under covers, and the bed topper had a small blood stain on it.

My air conditioner didn't work well so I didn't sleep well. Mattress was not comfortable. Room was very cramped feeling.

Friendly, clean swimming pool, clean room. Breakfast was pretty good!

Plenty of parking. Right next to a sports bar restaurant.

Free breakfast left much to be desired - pretty typical, though, for these kinds of hotels; but, such cheap breakfasts always disappoint.

I am a frequent Hampton inn user. The hotel was about average for most of the Hampton Inns I have stayed. Though I have stayed at some nice recently renovated ones. Time for a renovation for this site

I booked a "double" which I thought meant 2 double beds. Wrong. One double in a small corner room. My teenage son slept on the floor giving mom the bed. Not advertised properly. I paid hotel prices for the floor!! And the bill was off by $100 to boot!!

That you needed to sign up for the wifi and we still couldn't get it to work. Also the towels very hard and scratchy.

The hot breakfast was nice and offered a decent selection (hot and cold items) so that my picky eater found something to eat.

The walls are paper thin so we heard everyone in the hallways, above us and next door.

The Hampton Inn in State College has been around a while, but they've maintained the property well considering how much business it gets. One small touch: mattress had an allergy proof cover plus a mattress pad. Much appreciated by those with allergies!

Location; staff; breakfast and breakfast staff were excellent.

Noisey area; from neighbors and parking lot. No microwave or refrigerator. We stayed in the same hotel last year and loved it; this one did not keep us happy; we will be looking elsewhere this fall.

The appearance of the hotel says "we care." It was not ultra fancy, but well maintained and the staff was wonderful and attentive. The breakfast is nice.

The room did not have fridge or microwave. I was a little disappointed.

The hotel was very close to Penn State campus. The hotel was very clean.

It would be great if the beds were queens instead of doubles.

The room was very old and run down. The doors where paper thin. I had to fix the toilet (since it was leaking all night long). The climate control unit in the room was old, huge and incredibly loud! It sounded like a lawnmower in my room.

The hotel was in a great location. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the beds were so comfortable! And the hot breakfast was an added bonus! We would stay here again if we come back to State College.

The location is great. The hotel is in good shape for the volume of traffic it gets and the price. The staff is nice and breakfast is a bonus.

The tub needed a good cleaning but aside from that the hotel was clean and had a great location.
