- Unbeatable location. Eveeuthing is ealking distance, shops, restaurants, etc. Great staff. It is an older, no frills property but well maintained.
- Perfect location, near everything. Cute paintings, staff were awesome and the room was perfect for our one night stay. Comfy bed, fridge for beverages, 24 hour coffee and hot cocoa. We were happy.
- Great location for doing everything in Phoenixville.
Cons -
- Parking is limited. There are only aboutb10 spaces. But the owner has a restaurant down the street with overflow parking.
- Could use a bit of updating (some chipping paint on the ceiling of the bathroom).
- Exceptionally loud singing by housekeeper, very early in the morning.

Great location for doing everything in Phoenixville.
Exceptionally loud singing by housekeeper, very early in the morning.
the room key reminded me of staying at the shore.
almost everything. the smell in hallway, the bedding, the bathroom.
Location
Room was tiny. Bathtub had obviously not been cleaned as there was hair at the drain and in the tub. Bathroom sink took forever to drain.
Excellent location
Not very clean. Blanket had a hole and bathroom towels were torn.
I love the location in the middle of downtown Phoenixville! Free parking and amazing staff!
The rooms are a little small.

The parking is very difficult and the lot is extremely small. The lot is geared for smaller vehicles, which I do not have.
Location right in the middle of town and easy walk to multiple restaurants.
Room was filthy. Sheets had stains on them and place had not been dusted for at least a week. Shower was full of hair as well.

the front desk said they would pay for parking. Thankfully we just happened to be walking by when the ticket guy was checking out our car so we went over to ask him if we were ok. Turns out the hotel never took care of our parking. They did after that.
We wanted to be downtown in walking distance to everything and this accomplished that.
We were prepared to park a distance away and walk, given the other reviews. That was not an issue for us, but it would have been helpful to get better directions to more remote parking locations. We would rather have just gone there directly.
Very enjoyable for what my needs were, nice, quaint, clean. Overall, a very nice stay. Great staff.
Room was very small, parking not good.
The service was excellent from the from desk to the cleaning service everyone was awesome

Great location!!
There were small opportunities to refresh the room that could be attended to.
Great location in Phoenixville.
Could use some modernization.
Perfect for a quick night's stay. Great location!
One tiny on-site parking lot.
I loved the staff, the charm, and the location the most. The staff was extremely warm and welcoming and went out of their way to be accommodating. The rooms were very clean , and the bedding had a pleasant scent when I was tucked in at night. I also appreciated the complimentary bottled water. The charm of the Mainstay was better than expected. It had such good vibes and felt like home away from home. The shower pressure was strong and the water was extremely hot, so that felt great after a long trip and several hours in a car. I appreciated the parking right next to the building and loved that everything downtown was walkable. I felt extra safe with the digital key pad for entry into the building and peace knowing someone was always at the front desk. I will happily make a return visit if I’m ever in Phoenixville again! Thank you!
I only have two things that are more nit picky, but weren’t deal breakers. The first thing is the mattress was a little too firm for me and didn’t seem to be soft enough, but everyone is subjective. My back was extra sore from traveling so perhaps I was more sensitive than normal. The second thing is the paint job on the walls and trim was a little sloppy here and there, but that’s really being fussy. Again, not a deal breaker. That was in my bathroom , the rest was great. I didn’t want a brand new Hilton, I wanted a place with charm. So I’d give them a 9.8 out of 10! So pretty great job folks!
The location and property are nice. The rooms look a little out dated.
The TV is as small as a computer screen. Don’t even have a TV in the room. Breakfast choices are laughable. You need to say you have a snack cafe. Not breakfast included. Your parking situation is abysmal and when someone is booking a room for work quick they are not going to notice sentences at the bottom of an email. You need to state boldly and clearly that parking is limited.
staff was very nice. location was good.
dark, dated (1970's) poor room quality. empty tissue box. old, rusty shower. no hair dryer. poor ac/heat unit that was very noisy. tv didn't work.
