The proximity to the venue we were going to was nice. Didn't really interact with any staff aside from a woman just staring at us from what I assume was the office. There was an older man that came out from a huge U-Haul, asked us if we needed him to move. He might have been staff or just working on renovations Keyless entry was nice.

The part we stayed in had already been "renovated". The main door had a significant gap in it because there was no weather stripping. This let bugs, noise, and moisture into the room. There were a few gnats flying about. You could see someone had swatted at bugs that gathered near the ceiling light, their guts made trails on the ceiling. The noise from the road was horrible. I could tolerate the trains going by because it was a slow build up, but the loud diesel trucks and the slamming of doors and people walking about outside woke me up a lot. The carpet area felt damp. We did not use the shower, it was very tiny. One mattress was very soft. We tried to sleep on that and rolled into the middle and on top of each other. Wouldn't be an issue if I hadn't had knee surgery and don't need to have that knee pinned under my husband. The other mattress was very hard. Parking on our end was tight when the U-Haul was there. Had to get another guest to move their car so we could go to the wedding we were attending. They weren't too happy about that and it turned out they were going to the same wedding. Spent majority of their time staring us down and being rude. They were in the room next to ours and could hear them through the walls and smell their cigarettes through the gap in our door.When we were asked about our stay by friends, we said that while we understand there are renovations underway, it was a mix of the Bates Motel and My Cousin Vinny. Within the first hour of staying, I had major sinus issues, migraine, coughing. It got better when we left the room and returned when we came back. I took some medication to try to help so I could sleep.

The room was very clean, as was the entire property. They allowed us to do a"flex-time" check in, which was perfect! We did not need to rush our time or rearrange plans to make a specific check in time. The personal self-code entry access was also a HUGE plus; no lost keys or having to remember one every time you left the room.

That we had to leave so soon! No but really, everything was truly easy and as one could hope for and expect.

Sent access code to room prior to arrival in the morning so we did not have to check in.

Great place to stay. We have stayed before. Accommodates and staff are excellent.

The storm we had and the electricity were out for hours. Staff made to get it up and running for guests. Great job!

Overwhelming smell of mildew/mold

The room was very spacious and very comfortable! It was very easy to get in the room with the door code.

The only thing I would improve is the shower head, tub spout was letting water out during the shower and the pressure on the shower head wasn’t as high as I like. I would add curtains to the bathroom window, although the glass is frosted at night it wasn’t as private as I would like so I kept the light off. Both of these issues would Not keep me from rebooking.

I enjoyed the piece and quite, the room was very clean the only thing that I gave a bad review for was the bathroom it was very small and the shower was horrible,the faucet in the shower needs work and adjustments everything else about the room was good , I would get a room there again
