    Pros +

    • Large room and nice bathroom and the location is perfect to enjoy downtown Yellow Springs.
    • Extremely underrated. Beautiful hotel. Great location. Very reasonably priced. I¿ve traveled for years. This hotel is much nicer than some of the ¿four star¿ places that we¿ve stayed in.
    • Everything

    Cons -

    • The restaurant was closed most of the time which made it quite inconvenient. They didn’t provide even one bottle of water free of charge and considering the cost of the hotel that seemed a little bit “tacky“ especially since there was plenty of coffee and tea.
    • I wish they had a king bed option
    • I would like to have had a refrigerator in the room. Also, they have no ice machines. They provide bags of ice in a chest, which is not refrigerated. Consequently, the ice is partially melted and you would need a hammer to break up the ice in order to use it. For what you pay for a room, I would expect better.

It was corgi themed which is so cute and the restaurant was really good. I loved the porch and the room was wonderful. The staff were kind and helpful!

Breakfast was good. I like the location. Easy to access the trail.

The staff and rooms were lovely! The location cannot be beat.

There is one thing-- The common areas are overwhelmingly perfumed, so much so that my daughter and I couldn't use them. I wonder if that can get dialed down a bit, it's really too much!

    Location and restaurant

The jacuzzi tub was not working or the heated floors in the bathroom

    10LauraPosted on: 1-2-2026

The location was great because we could easily get out and walk around Yellow Springs. We loved having access to shops and restaurants nearby as well as outdoor hiking.

We wish the breakfast was more reasonable in price. Coffee available in the lobby would be nice (so I don't wake my partner in the morning when making it in the room). A refrigerator would also be helpful.

The friendly staff. The room was nice and clean and it was very roomy and comfortable. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It was like out of a magazine. The hotel is located downtown therefore within walking distance to stores and restaurants. Every floor is beautifully painted with light colors yet very tasteful.

There wasn’t anything I disliked about the property. It’s a beautiful hotel.

The breakfast was not included, but Emma's Place in the lobby is a lovely restaurant. I fell in love with their Honeybee Latte.

My room was on the street side so there was a little noise. The room I had before, there was no noise.

Charming hotel conveniently located in downtown Yellow Springs. Easily walkable to cute stores and restaurants. Very close to Clifton Mills for Christmas light display.

    Nothing!

We have relatives in Yellow Springs. When we visit we stay at Mills Park. We like the hotel very much and enjoy dinning there also.

    Nothing to say.

Lovely, well appointed hotel in the heart of Yellow Springs, close to everything.

On the third floor, we had difficulty getting hot water. Had to run the shower a while before it got hot.

Had a wonderful stay. The staff was awesome. The room was nice. Easy to walk to all the stores and restaurants

No exhaust fan in the bathroom.

Super great location. Beautiful facility. Plenty of free parking behind the hotel. We could easily walk to many quaint restaurants and interesting shops. The extensive paved bike trail goes right through Yellow Springs. Many hiking options nearby at Glen Helen, Clifton Gorge, and John Bryan State Park. Just North of town is Youngs Dairy which has evolved into its own theme park...it is so popular it has its own traffic light on State Route 68.

The hotel was clean and lovely. The staff was attentive and helpful.

The rooms were nice and the beds were very comfortable. However, there is absolutely no insulation between the walls. The group in the room next to us weren't overly loud, but I could clearly hear their conversations in our room. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing hotel, this isn't it. Unless you like to evesdrop.

    10LowellPosted on: 10-18-2025

Absolutely amazing hotel. We had a balcony room and had a wonderful view of everything. We stay here for a weekend yearly and it is a wonderful weekend away.

That we don't live here. Lol

It’s a lovely and clean building and it’s right in the heart of yellow Springs. Very close to the college.

No elevator to second floor. I had hurt my back recently before going there and it was difficult getting the luggage up the stairs.
