Sonesta Simply Suites Cleveland Westlake

Friendly, helpful staff, great location, the set up as separate small buildings versus one big hotel was great for having a pet.

Location

Card reader machine went down. Had to go to front desk so they can let me I'm my room for 3 days. Couldn't leave room after 11pm

It was in a convenient location

The swimming pool was down with no water and no plan to fix. The hot water in our unit when out the day we arrived and had no plan to fix.

I like the set up of the room it was just dirty

The smell and it was dirty the carpet nasty and the covers had hair on them

Location

The furnace filter was black, had to wait all day for clean towels while they washed them. Dog barked all night in the unit next to us.

Location and room size

No curtain see through curtains dirty and had kids looking in windows. Manager did not care

King bed paid for, changed to Queen with no notification or any sort of compensation

It was quiet and relaxing.

Fireplace did not work. The steps to the 2nd level are a little bit uneven in places.

The general manager was so accommodating and understanding of my families personal needs. This was one of the best most homelike places I have stayed as a traveling nurse! It made me want to extend my contract even longer because I didn't mind my hotel.

The washer and dryer aren't the best. I paid for 5 cycles @2.75/cycle to get my clothes semi-dry. I paid for a washer 3x because the 1 never spun out. Dont plan on clean laundry. No breakfast as advertised. Housekeeping only every2weeks w/request

Great location

There was a leak in the room--the floor was wet when we got there. The outside window was open when we got there. Soap and shampoo dispensers were empty.

The pull out had staining on it. The carpet had a stain on it found a spider web in the wall had a broken coffee cup . The air vent needed clean found a hair in the tub . Need to have sheets and pillows for the pull out the out side steps need painted

Location

We booked the reservation for 3 people. There were only towels, washcloths, and bedding for 2. The A/C did not work well. It stayed 10 degrees above the temp it was set at. Room was musty and hot. Pots were dirty.

Asked for non smoking room. Room smelled like smoke. Hairs in bathroom tub drain and floor. Old unit upstairs and no elevators. Wife was upset and hard to get upstairs.

Layout is very nice. However...Fireplace did not work as advertised, I killed one very lathe cock roach on the carpet, there were very few kitchen utilities, no tissues, the veranda was extremely dirty.

Hotel employee was amazing! We arrived early and needed to access our room so we could make it to a family celebration on time. Even though they were short staffed, hotel employee found us a room and got us checked in. He was very nice and very helpful! Room was clean!!

We did experience smoke coming through the vents when we came back to our room. Not sure how to avoid that.good thing we were too tired to care.

Full kitchen and staff was friendly and helpful

Hotel double charged me by mistake and I had to have my room changed and when I got to new room there was dirty linen and bags of trash in the room. Had to wait on the lady at the front desk to come and get them

Very bad smell in room when we arrived. Had to go to front desk for air freshener to get room presentable. Front desk person said "OK" when made aware of problem. Not very customer friendly.

The room was spacious and had everything that we needed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We have recommended the Sonesta ES Suites to everyone we talked to. We will definitely stay here the next time we have to come to Cleveland.

We enjoyed our stay. There wasnt anything that we disliked.

Checked in and approved for late check out by check in attendant but was harassed by cleaning staff who said I was not approved for late check out at noon which I was. It was rude.
