Hampton Inn Defiance

Clean, quiet, good breakfast selection, staff friendliness

Pet area was covered in feces. My dog wouldn’t even enter the area. Guests need to pick up after their pets, but the hotel needs to monitor the area and keep it clean when the guests don’t.

Room cared for 3 people nicely. Hotel staff very cordial and ready to respond quickly. Breakfast excellent. Eggs not overcooked, fresh fruit bowl with Greek yogurt and granola very tasty and healthy. Staff eager and quick to respond to any food needs.

No complaints. Staff made stay very comfortable and relaxing. Fold out sofa bed even very comfortable ¿¿ Keep up the excellent morale!

Hotel was clean. Many choices for breakfast. Staff was helpful and kind.

Too far away from Highway I90.

Everything was clean and the Breakfast was wonderful!!!

we did not receive the room asked for we received a handicap accessible room. no long closets to hang dress clothes everything was at a higher level like the toilet. Just a few things like that made it more difficult. Overall the room was clean and nice.

The Gym snd the stafff, It’s very close to defiance college where my son will be attending

Everything was great

Very nice hotel and very clean.

I spent the extra money on this hotel based on the hot breakfast. If I would have know they are not serving breakfast I would have chosen to stay someplace else for cheaper. Please remove breakfast included from the listing so people can choose properly

The floor was not clean. My feet were black from floor

Everything was perfect!!! Beds were super comfortable!!

Everything was great!

No complaints

i love the Hampton Inns. i have stayed a this location before and would like to stay again when visiting my children at Defiance College. i found the Hotel to be extremely clean staff was friendly and answered all my questions. the breakfast was wonderful. i Love the lemon water and fruit in the lobby a long w the bagged breakfast what wonderful thoughtful thing for your guests. However, my only complaint my bed in Room 213 was absolute Rock Hard, not firm but rock hard. i was not able to sleep w/o pain medication and even then, about 2-3 hrs.

Everything except the bed it was very hard. i was almost unable to sleep in it. The Lemon water in the lobby is a wonderful touch.

Easily found, and very nice facilities

Parking spaces were pretty narrow

It was a clean facility and the breakfast was very good.

When we arrived there was no one at the front desk. Not a first good impression.

We had a great room the view was very nice

The beds weren't very comfortable

Good location. Clean.

Looks like fitness room was under construction, the temporary one was tiny and only had 2 machines squeezed in it

Close to food and shopping areas

Thin ceiling/walls heard footsteps from the room above all night

Very clean and smelled amazing!

Wish I would have known in advance about the pool renovations

beds were soft and comfortable. breakfast was good

tub flooded bathroom when you took a shower. lots of hair on bathroom floor. dirt in the beds. the beds weren't queen size, they were full size beds. very small. walls in bathroom were peeling and dirty.

We love how clean the property is and how great the breakfast is. The rooms are spacious, and it’s pet-friendly too.

I wish the pet fee was just a temporary hold rather than an actual charge. We have a tiny, adorable fur baby who’s completely harmless. Hehe.

Cleanliness, hospitality, extra gifts

Nothing, liked it all
