Great location, easy parking, close to the freeway.

The room had a musty smell. I was glad I brought air freshener.

Staff was rude. Hidden fees. Room was not clean. Burn marks from outlet under counter. Shower was wet like someone used it.

The beds were clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and professional. Breakfast was very decent and the location was great. Safe and within walking distance of alot of great restaurants, bars and entertainment. I will suggest this hotel for others.

The room was very clean. Very comfortable King size bed. Good location for accessing the stadiums, Playhouse square and public transit routes to other areas.

Extremely frustrating experience dealing with staff. Just poor attitudes all around.Their door keys barely work, no matter how you handle the card you have about a 1 in 6 chance of it scanning correctly. If you ask for a new card key, the staff rolls their eyes and acts like you're stupid until they try to demonstrate using the key and find that *surprise* the key just doesn't work for them either.The sole elevator is extremely slow and creaky. Not worth using. The hotel charges for parking but then they also sell their parking lot for baseball games. Charging you for parking that isnt actually available and then directing you to questionable non-spots in their cramped basement.While the room was clean and nice the overall experience of dealing with the hotel was abysmal.

Polite, happy staff. Comfortable bed. Fabulous complimentary breakfast.

Parking and location

Bed hurt my back. Looks like they just keep painting over chopping paint and rust.

When I arrived I wasn't sure about hotel as from the outside it looks a bit tatty, old-looking and windows unclean. But on entering I was pleasantly surprised with a warm greeting and my room available early. There is parking attached to hotel that you have to pay for. The hotel is a bit old but it is very pleasant. Nice, comfortable room and again some furniture a bit old but well equipped and comfortable. Simple but very good breakfast included. Excellent location right by theatre district downtown. Enjoyed my stay.

Cramped bathroom with toilet very close to counter. Had to stand very close to the toilet to use hairdryer due to very shirt cord. Carpet needs cleaning in the room.

The hotel was well located to the areas I wanted to visit. The staff was polite and courteous and meet my needs.

Hotel was an acceptable walk (25 min) from Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and other points of interest. Plenty of parking on surface lot as well as underground garage. Breakfast was typical fare, and adequate. Room was clean, but somewhat small and dated looking. Lots of security cameras in hallways - but is anyone monitoring them? Price is a great value for the location, and price was the primary factor we selected this hotel.

Overall the entire property seems dated and somewhat… tired? It’s very clean - but everything just seems on the verge of being worn out. The corkscrew shaped ramp into the underground parking garage is NOT for those lacking in driving skill. The bathroom is small and the lighting is insufficient. The HVAC unit is somewhat noisy and old. The neighborhood seems to have an abundance of idle people who sit around panhandling, which may be a problem if you travel on foot. There did not seem to be an in-room safe.
