Riverbend Hotel and Suites, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

The staff was exceptional (especially in food services) who welcomed us for breakfast every morning. The hotel view was absolutely stunning. The room itself was super clean and spacious. I will 100% be staying again.

The only thing I would change is more parking. Spaces were limited, but parking was free and we made it work everyday.

Walls in room have little to no insulation. You can hear everything in the room next door. We heard a dog (must be pet friendly) barking most of the morning. The coffee pot outlet did not work. Shade did not raise (river view)

The bed was super comfy, there was no noise, and the view was great!

I absolutely love that the Riverbend reflects and honors the local culture. They really embraced the culture of the harbor and Ashtabula (rather than trying to "replace" the culture). The artwork of the local bridge and the industry in the area is great!

The hotel was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, breakfast was good and the staff were amazing!

The walls were too thin. When possible try to have a room in-between guest. We could hear our neighbors talk.

The Riverbend Hotel is only a couple months old and well appointed. Our room was very pleasing and comfortable.

When the person who cleaned the shower stall did not rinse well. There were two black hairs at eye level. Not cool. Same with the bathroom sink.

Overall hotel was as expected

No hot water upon arrival and no hot water at 5am departure, no shower or shave. I will request refund.

We asked ahead of time about the only restraunt and bar would be open during our stay. We were told yes. We asked again when we checked in and the staff said yes its open. So we were not happy when we went to have dinner and a drink it was completely closed on Monday. Then we were told oh its not open on Mondays. This happened when we stayed there in Sept 2025 it was closed for a private event we were never told that time either. We feel if the amenities are not available we should have been given a break on the bill. Ice machine on our floor was out of order as well as many of the elevators. Not sure we will stay at this hotel again.

Location on the river next to the historic lift bridge and many great restaurants, shops and coffee house.

Nothing to not like

Super clean! Shower was so nice and clean (unlike many hotels). In-room coffee maker was so nice. The breakfast was SO good!

Did not eat breakfast.

Not enough parking in back so I had to go back to ask where else I could park. I think I would rather have a password protected internet.

The room was spacious, bright and clean. The staff was helpful and did everything to make our stay more comfortable despite some unexpected occurences (no river view, no housekeeping, location of room)

The room was listed as having a river view but it did not, all you could see was the sidewalk, parking lot, and people walking by. Housekeeping was not performed as expected the day after check in. There was a wedding so the sky bar was not open.

The hotel is really nice, our room was fantastic. And the location is great plenty of restaurants and bars, and little shops all close by and definitely walkable.

Our room was on the 4th floor. (401) the bar is right above our head. Every time someone moved a bar stool we could hear it. It stopped at 11pm but started again around 6am. But that is my only complaint.
