Rooms under renovation

We were performing at Proctors next door and it was a very short walk.

The General Manager is crazy and controlling. I had been trying to get a group rate for 2 weeks. I left several messages with the front desk. Sent emails and had my travel company send several inquiries. No response. I have more to say, out of characters.

We had to change rooms. The first room had a terrible urine smell. Mr. Amir was very polite and accommodating; he changed our room with no hesitation. The next room was better. I left items in the room and was pleased to know they held them for me.

Hotel was literally steps away from the Procror Theater.The hotel itself was so clean and appeared newly updated. Hotel staff was very nice and friendly. The free breakfast had a great selection including waffle maker. Extremely pleased with evweything!

I loved the friendliness/Helpfulness of the staff. That is the main reason I choose to stay at Hampton Inn when I Travel.

The room closet door is held shut by a metal strip and a magnet. The strip had become unattached from the mirror/door, so the door would not stay closed. I consider that an annoyance, not a big deal, but I didn't like it.

The location is amazing. It is within walking distance of so many place in downtown!!

We had trouble with the temperature in our room. Maintenance was up to fix it but was unable to resolve and told us to wait for 30 minutes and it would be better. We didn¿t the night in a very warm 80 degrees when it should have been airconditioned.

Nice breakfast and clean room.

Accidentally left an item behind in room but when I called no one was able to locate it. That is the only reason for a 9 instead of a 10.

It was quiet

The room was not as clean as expected. Stains on wall and ceiling.

We booked this hotel specifically because of the pool and hot tub. Unfortunately, the hotel booked the room for a child's birthday party. Not sure if it was private but there were several people occupying the facility that we could not use it

The staff, particularly in the dining room were awesome.

The room smelled like chlorine. I knew the hotel was very full. Otherwise I would have asked for a different room. I wondered if it was above the pool. That would've accounted for the chlorine gassing above to the second floor. We were in room 209.

Staff was excellent, very friendly professional and courteous. I would love to stay there again. We had 4 adults and one child between 2 rooms. Hot tub was actually hot, pool was very pleasant.
