Very charming, staff were very kind and helpful.

Sound proofing between rooms is less than desirable, but understandable given the age of the building and how maintaining this heritage has been a focus of the staff.

Beautiful house. Beautiful rooms. Close to several great restaurants and George Eastman House. Delicious breakfast.

Location and comfort

Always great when we stay here. Extremely comfortable and perfect place to unwind and just relax!

We liked Melina and Gary. They made our stay a joy. They were so warm, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast were good.

The noise above our room was like elephants walking because of the hardwood floors. We paid much more than it was worth.

The Staff was particularly friendly and very willing to discuss the facility and surrounding area. Loved the Antique style and fireplaces. Breakfast was awesome and first class. Location was fantastic for restaurants, downtown and things to see.

Not a huge deal, but the Restaurant list was slightly outdated. We found places easily and they were delicious, but had to call all of them to learn hours of Holiday operations. Many of the places were closed and should be removed from the list.

This is a renovated older home in a nice residential area close to many restaurants. We had a spacious room on the third floor with a private balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.

Loved the house. The neighborhood was quiet and in a good location.

I thought it could use a little better cleaning as far as our room went. Bathroom vent was pretty dirty. The door to the room had dust/dirt at the bottom of it. The corners of the bathroom could use a bit of cleaning. Trash should be emptied no matter how much trash is in the can (bathroom trash can had used Q-tips and a clump of hair in it.

Classic historical house with large rooms and a welcoming host. Very smooth operation.

It is a bit creepy staying in a big, old house when there is no staff there.

Room was very cozy and clean, self entry was very easy and breakfast was excellent! Very cute neighborhood and quiet street. As a single woman traveling this was the most appealing option for safety and cost when searching for rooms. Will absolutely stay here again upon my return to Rochester!

Breakfast good. Not a lot of food. We did not realize we had to climb to the third floor with luggage. We are strong and healthy but would not not advise this if you are not capable

They make a truly delicious breakfast, included in the price, and have so many teas to choose from

the host went out of his way to accommodate our request to eat outside (due to our concerns about Covid). It's very clean, and it feels good to stay there.

Spacious bedroom with abundant natural light and a private bath. Lovely bath products provided. The bed was very comfortable and the home was quiet in the evening and night. The home itself was lovely with nice appointments-very warm and inviting. Breakfast was delightful and the gentleman who prepared the meal was very personable. His kindness made the stay perfect!

My only recommendation would be to refinish some of the lovely, old wood furniture adorning the bedroom.
