Fairfield Inn Rochester Henrietta/University Area

My sheets were dirty and had hair in them. I slept on top because we checked in late but other than that hotel was fine

Bed was fine.

Rink dink hotel. I thought it was a real Fairfield, but it is a franchise. A refurbished one at that. Outlets didn't work, tv didn't work. Breakfast space was a nook that could fit 4 people. Not an 8.4 more like a 6.

Location

There was a strong chemical smell in the room when I initially went in. It faded as I stay in the room. Not sure the source. Asked for a room change, front desk attendant said this was not possible. The smell could have been my own making- not sure.

The pool is dirty. They didn't clean the bathroom. We had to go to the desk to ask for garbage bags and toilet paper. They did not fill the soap or shampoo

Everything was great! the front desk was warm, welcoming and witty! The entire property was spotless, despite the renovation that was going onI We did not partake in the breakfast, but we looked it over, and it looked fabulous!

The room was nice and comfy and the coffee was good.

The staff barged in without knocking attempting to catch us smoking. We were not, but they charged us $250 for it anyway. While tossing us out half asleep for made-up reasons, they called the cops, who agreed there was no sign of smoking. Danger here.

Good breakfast.

Breakfast area is pretty cramped. People bumping into you a lot as you eat.

Not clean at all. The bathroom was dirty and there were stains on curtains, bed sheets and floor! The bath tub was old and had white paint kinda stuff coming out of the tub. Did not expect a Marriot Fairfiled in such a bad condition. Breakfast was a joke!

The hotel was a decent, good stay. It has not had the modern update like other Marriotts, but it was clean and the staff was friendly enough. There is an indoor pool, but it was pretty cold.

The hotel could use some modern updating. The breakfast menu could use some help, especially the eggs (not a big fan of Powdered eggs). Easily the worst breakfast of our trip.

Staff was absent. Literally, no staff was present at 5pm when people wanted to check in. They left for at least 30 minutes with no explanation. Hallways had some trash, and elevator was filthy. However room was clean and comfortable.

Staff and management are horrible.

Staff was the best. Front desk was on point.

Being woken up at 3am with kid banging on my door running the halls. I wasn’t happy at all an missed the 7am meeting i was waiting a month to attend. Also this accidental charge that will take a month to get back on my credit card.

Phone number was not working and can’t connect to hotel before arrival and manager was not understanding to accommodate our change of schedule. We eventually didn’t stay at the place

Easy to find and recently remodeled. Staff is very friendly.

The bathrooms are still dated and could use a deep cleaning.

Clean rooms, good hot breakfast, friendly staff.

The pool was VERY small and green with slime on the bottom. My kids who swim in farm PONDS wouldn't swim it. It smelled strange also. I wouldn't recommend using the hotel if you want your kiddos to get wiggles out in the pool. :( Huge disappointment.

Just wished there was a hot tub.

I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat. It was a very nice room with a comfortable bed, decent shower, quiet A/C unit, very nice furnishings. The free breakfast was actually hot (which has been an issue at other hotels). Great experience.

The staff was very friendly.

I wish it would have had a hot run/spa. The pool was nice.

Large clean rooms with a comfortable bed

Only 35 channels and no premium channels at all. Spending 4 days at the hotel this became boring.
