AC unit must be 40 years old.. it doesn’t generate cool air. Yard work and chainsaws at 8:05 am!?

Location, clean, and friendly

Absolutely immaculate!! Charming and well-maintained interior 1940ish furnishings!!! My room was virtually sound proof ..... No one disturbed me. It is on the St Lawrence River with free canoes and kayaks! The 2-level wooden deck overlook was georgous!

Location......Beautiful site on St. Lawrence River. Restaurant and lounge on site, great outdoor swimming pool, top of the line work out room, and expansive lawn with lounge chairs overlooking river. If visiting or traveling the Seaway trail, stay here.

Our stay was too short.

The hotel is very clean! Beds are comfortable and pillows are soft!

This is a quaint, family-run motel sitting right on the St Lawrence River in a small, sleepy town. I would not hesitate booking here again.

The gentleman at the front desk accommodated us when we showed up with our pug and there were no more pet rooms left. We had an amazing view & the location & grounds are gorgeous. First hotel we've been to in 2 years I would gladly recommend & stay again.

Trim the big tree so you have a better view from room 111 balcony. :)

The sink faucet in Rm 104 did not work properly, it was very hard to adjust to cold water and the hot would burn your fingers.

My room had a spectacular view of the St. Lawrence River. It was absolutely breathtaking! The beds were comfortable and the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet.

I felt that the Kayaking offered was a missed opportunity. There were no clear instructions nor did I see anyone out to offer assistance, if needed.

It was right on the water & the view from our room was just as they said it would be.

Each room had a parking space in front. We left to go & visit a friend. When we got back there was a car in "our space". When I called the office to complain, they said that there were no designated parking spaces. It seemed strange arrangement.

Room was a little small but it didn't really matter since we were only sleeping in it.

Quiet

Wasn't treated respectfully by staff. I was reminded of check out 3 times as early as 8am up until 10am. Check out is at 11am. Couldn't get the last 2 hours of sleep I needed for my long and important day the following day. The day was ruined as a result.

Location, clean, great river view, and price

The toilet would not flush, they forgot to provide any soap/shampoo etc, and the heater constantly ran thus forcing us to open the door to attempt to cool the room in upstate NY nearing December.

Upon checkin we only had reservations for a regular queen room. They were almost completely booked, but the clerk was able to upgrade us to a river-side balcony room at no cost. The room was clean and the free breakfast was actually very good. A++

No fault of the hotel, but cell service is horrid. Bounces off Canadian towers.

The location was lovely. It looks like they are in the process of adding some new features which will enhance the stay however our stay was fine.It might be a service to have towels available at the pool. Enjoyed our stay

Picturesque location near the river. Friendly, accommodating staff, even when checking in very late. Nice bathroom, good to have a refrigerator in the room.

The were a lot of open rooms, but I was put in a room facing the front parking lot on the first level. All the rooms in the back have a terrace and a view of the river. I had nothing. I was also charged twice for my room.
