Featuring free Wi-Fi and a free daily breakfast, this Manhattan hotel is just a quarter mile from Madison Square Park. Four metro stations are within a 10-minute walk, providing easy access to all of Manhattan. A flat-screen cable TV is provided in each air-conditioned room at the Lex Hotel NYC. The private bathrooms are stocked with towels and a hairdryer. A 24-hour front desk welcomes guests to the Lex NYC Hotel, which also features a terrace and concierge services. Luggage storage is provided as well. Dining options are plentiful in the area around the Lex Hotel. Shake Shack is just a 5-minute walk and Gramercy Tavern is just over half a mile away. Pros +
- The location was perfect for where we wanted to be, the staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and it was absolutely gigantic!
- Staff was pleasant & helpful. Complimentary breakfast.
- The staff and location were great.
Cons -
- The room was not very clean, there were stains on the carpet and linens. There was a strong chemical smell. No coffee pot or housekeeping.
- The breakfast was good. Not much variety of food though. Would love it if there were pancakes or something hot.
- Be aware of extra ¿resort fee.¿ Heater was very loud but we could control the temp and there was zero street noise. I¿ve become accustomed to hypoallergenic pillows being available so I did not bring my own. Their down was were lovely but not for me.
