Lake Placid Inn: Main Street

Clean and nice. Good value for money.

Reviews are correct that curtains don¿t block any light. For anyone looking to sleep in bring something to cover the windows with.

Super clean 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom in the center of the Olympic village right across the skate rink and next to the Mirror Lake. The kitchen was well equipped with all needed cutlery. Perfect stay!

The heater in one of the bedroom was a little loud, but nothing major. Otherwise, a perfect stay.

The apartment was very clean, had lots of room and nicely stocked kitchen. The location was great! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Location was perfect for us as we were attending the CANAM Hockey tournament at the Olympic Center across the street.

Check in was late due to our room not being ready until after 4pm.

The location was great. Staff very friendly. We had an issue with our toilet upon arrival and their response was immediate.

Access to the Olympic Center couldn't be better. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and was great for 3 of us.

The bedroom has 4 windows, and the blinds in that room need to be blackout. It simply isn't dark in there at night, because it faces Main Street and the Olympic Center.

All around great experience. The place was very clean. Very comfortable.

I am a very tall and big person, and the shower door didn't open fully because of its close proximity to the toilet. So it was a challenge for me to access the shower every day. But that did ruin my experience or cause any real issues. I just didn't like it. I am 6'7", 320 lbs., NFL size. A normal-sized person would have no difficulty with it.

It was a comfortable place to stay and felt like home. It had your own kitchen, dining room table, couch and television along with a separate bedroom and beautiful bathroom. It was very clean and quiet. It was also a great location. We were able to walk to Main Street and across the road to the Olympic Arena.

The location was wonderful being right across the street from the Olympic Museum/Center!!!! It was basically right on Main Street so it was near the small town shopping and eating places! It was nice having access to washer/dryer.

Beautiful rooms. The space was spacious, clean and very cozy. The beds were extremely comfortable. Excellent location. Wish we could have extended our stay.

The details and photos are of the main lodge. The actual rooms were several yards down the street in a very non descriptive dreary building. Checking in was confusing and there was limited signage and instructions regarding the two separate locations. Beautiful mountain city but very sad accommodations. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Lousy check-in process with shouting front desk clerk. A new experience for us all.

The check in process. You book the property and drive to the address of the property. We grab our luggage, coolers and other items and head to the entrance of our hotel. STOP!!!While this is the address where your booked room is, it is not where you check in. Damn!So, we reload the car and drive to the check in location. Where we are greeted by a very loud and obnoxious lady. This person knew one volume and one volume only. She speakers at a volume requiring ear plugs. Who was the managerial genius who placed this train wreck at the hotel’s front desk? We started talking loud hoping she would get the message and she accused us of shouting. Amazing. Then we learned our room was not ready. If was not a good first impression of this property.

Its not an hotel, but an apartment. There is not even a lobby and you need to do the checkin in a different place (2 minutes drive or 5 minutes walk).Location is perfect.

Overall it was good. We stayed for 3 nights and they gave us filter coffee just for 2 days and didn't agree to give us additional coffee for the third day. Really minor, but mostly a comment for the owner. The amount of coffee provided should much the number of nights.

5 minutes walk to downtown. Clean kitchen with a lot of supplies. Strong wifi. Big apartment.
