Pros +
- Views, service, room, beds, food
- Breakfast lunch and diner available in the hotel but for a fee. Also a bar, pool, hot tub, and fitness room.
- Indoor/outdoor dining and cocktail area with fantastic view overlooking town.
Cons -
- The room needs updating especially the bathroom. Nice spa tub but shower leaked on floor everyday and door did not close. Mold forming at base of shower door.
- same menu all the time
- I was humiliated by the abusive hotel manager. I extended my stay, paid upgrade fee. Began packing to move into new room, & then got an angry call berating me for taking too long get out of old room. I'm disabled, with ADA service dog. Shameful!

This is a beautiful property in a wonderful location. Although it is in bad need of updating to Crowne Plaza standards (it was obviously an old privately owned inn before and the room facilities need a lot of updating, such as electrical USB outlets....

The view! The location.
Fitness room closed at 9:30pm. This is a simple exercise room. Some people like to workout off hours. The local hours are not everyone's clock. Hard area to get other exercise at night.(Also could the hottub could be hot, or maybe have a small sauna?)
The pool
Heat didnt work, toulet flooded, room was dirty and was not cleaned daily
Location
Elevator noise in room. Pool view from room
Location to everything in Lake Placid is perfect. The views from the hotel are spectacular. Staff is very friendly and helpful
If you walk to everything, the hotel sits on a steep hill, makes for a workout to climb the hill 3-5 times a day. Anyone with health or heart issues, you might want to drive to your destinations. Other than a good exercise, it's a great place to stay
The view of Mirror Lake from the 4th floor patio
The Great Room and the private beach
AC was too loud. Old system.
Location
The spider webs between the lights between the beds and on the balcony.
The view of the surrounding area was spectacular. Great location
Rooms felt a bit dated.
fantastic view. staff friendly
hotel is dated for a 3 star.
Perched on a hill above the main strip in town, it's a quiet hotel that is walkable (if you are ok with a decent sized hill) to the entire strip of downtown Lake Placid, and has free parking, which is a nice bonus. Great views from the hotel common areas.
A bit older on the interior decor.
I liked the location of the hotel and all of its splendidness. The room was clean and the overall upkeep of the hotel was nice.
There was a hockey team of preteens and teens staying at the hotel. They were very rude, disruptive and loud. Late at night, they were running in the hallways and knocking on random doors. I don't know where their chaperones were but it was ridiculous.
Lounge spaces, stick furniture, comfy couch and fireplace, coffee on offer, view over the lake, architecture ( restaurant with vaulted ceiling)
Popcorn ceiling and paint drooping, no overhead lighting
Loved our location up on the hill, with nice views from some rooms and from the restaurant, etc. Decent gym for a workout, the restaurant was quite good and breakfast buffet quite good as well!! Enjoyed all of our meals and were treated extremely well.
An outdoor hot tub would¿ve been the cherry on top of an already great experience.
The front desk was friendly, the food was delicious, and the room was so clean and comfortable. Best bed EVER!
No, no complaints!
Location was beautiful
This hotel seems to be the hotspot for hockey tournaments. Throughout the weekend these kids were allowed to run wild turning the hotel into a zoo! Management did very little to accommodate people on vacation. Very disappointed
