Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Placid

Great location! The staff were very nice and courteous. Great view! Very clean hotel.

The only thing I would say was the breakfast was not the greatest. Wish there were some different options, like different kinds of yogurt, there was no muffins and could have had some healthier cereals, not just oatmeal.

Proximity to attractions, quiet, 24 hr coffee/tea in lobby.

They did not have the driveway plowed, it was an ice rink, very dangerous. When it began to melt there were at least 5? of slush/ice. Room was always too hot. Thermostat is controlled by front desk. Christmas music was playing on 2/26.

Wonderful views, convenient location, great hot tub. Super clean. Hospitable staff attitude. Hotel employee at front desk was exceptional. Had a very comfortable 2 day stay with hot breakfast. Best value in Lake Placid, much better than resort hotels!

Breakfast was pretty lame but I love that they have water and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. That?s a really nice perk especially at a place where a bottle of water is $3 and up everywhere

First room had no view The staff upgraded my room and I was very impressed with the entire staff¿s friendly demeanor! I¿ll never stay anyplace else while vacationing in Lake Placid!

Room comfy. Nice morning breakfast selections. Coffee and water stations available all day. Hot chocolate and cookies available in the afternoon for the weekend. Nice size pool for the children. Convenient to downtown and traveling to Whiteface.

Could have a few more selections for the "game" area. Some pieces missing on the tic tac toe. Crayon stubs for the coloring pages.

We loved the location and the staff here. hotel employee was a great bar tender. The front desk staff was amazing too including Tiana, Luis and others. The lobby was calm and inviting.

The room was overlooking Mirror Lake. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and delicious breakfast. We will definitely return!

Easy check in. Conveniently located to shops, restaurants, pub, and attractions. Easy to access highways. Great pool and hot tub.

Location

I specifically searched for a pet friendly hotel. We paid over --- for the night but the location was good. When we got there the hotel charged another 75.00 for a pet fee. Had I known I would be spending --- I would have NEVER chose a 2.5 ¿¿

Much nicer than I expected. The hotel is beautiful with great amenities & in a great location. The breakfast was very good & the staff was friendly.
