Located just off Interstate 90, this Castleton motel is 6 miles from central Albany. Facilities include free Wi-Fi access. The State University of New York at Albany is 15 miles away. - There was a mini fridge, and the vanity seemed newish with big counter top.
- Nothing
- The staff went above and beyond! I always have difficulty using my laptop on the road - I'm a technophobe. The young man at the front desk has a degree in computers and he helped me for at least 30 minutes on two separate days. Great DINER nearby!
Cons -
- Inexperienced clerk unable to run my credit card; locked lobby and groggy clerk when trying to check out at 8am; non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes; room door and bathroom door both filthy/stained; shower stall stained/damaged. Generally yucky.
- The floor and shower was dirty No soap was available Bad attitude This hotel rates one half
- Nothing. It was quiet, peaceful, easy to find. All the staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.
