NYC "partial closed" papers posted on front door!!... Listing should describe it as a "boarding house-bedsit" instead of a hotel room. I'm ok with shared bathroom and kitchen, but spring for individual soaps please, and towels were stained and threadworn.
I forgot my passport and wallet in the bedroom when I left. The cleaner ran the whole street to find me and give me back. She couldn't breath and had a lot sweat because she ran so fast.

Amazing area of Brooklyn to stay in!
Not much.
It's a private house divided into rooms. The house is just under the subway line so you will be sleeping 40-50 feet from the passing trains. There is no receptionist, if you have any question, you should call the owner on the phone, and he will be very irritated that you bothered him, and very rude. Bathrooms are shared, breakfast is on bring your own food basis in a shared kitchen.I booked a queen room but was given a smaller room, and not refunded for the difference.There is one parking spot, for 10 hours a day only.On the positive side, WiFi is fast and subway station is 300 feet away.
