About
Housed in a converted 100-year old factory, the 69-room Wythe Hotel is located on the Brooklyn waterfront. It's industrial character has been preserved and some rooms still showcase exposed brick walls. All rooms boast 13-foot high, original timber ceilings, windows and heated concrete floors. Some rooms offers a view of the New York City skyline while others offers guests a peek into the Brooklyn and Williamsburg neighborhoods. Le Crocodile is the hotel’s ground floor restaurant, and Bar Blondeau is the hotel’s bar located on the 6th floor. Bar Blondeau offers small plates while Le Crocodile serves breakfast, lunch and dinner consisting of French eats. Locally sourced ingredients are used for the meals. A private dining room is also available. The North Williamsburg stop for the East River Ferry is 2113 feet from the property.

Pros +
- Lovely boutique hotel with a cool vibe. Staff were very pleasant and professional. Bed and pillows were wonderful. The bathroom was huge with great decor. Good location.
- Was comfortable, easy to navigate, beautiful views, beautifully decorated, and the staff did a wonderful job. Recommend to anyone that needs a room to consider this.
- The style of the room/hotel was exactly what I was looking for. Everything was very clean and the staff were helpful. There's a subway station a couple blocks away.
Cons -
- The hotel was across the street from a nightclub so it was quite noisy if you are staying in a corner queen room. Drinks at rooftop bar were very pricey.
- The price was a bit high for the location. The view of Manhatten from the rooftop is beautiful, but the neighborhood it's in isn't great. Also, the soap provided in the bathroom is refilled instead of providing samples which I think is knd of gross.
- room service was underwhelming and cups were chipped. a strain on an almost perfect stay

Lovely historic hotel with lots of thoughtful features in a fashionable part of Brooklyn - shame I didn't get more of a chance to eplore the area. I loved the historic details and found the Bar Blondeau a comfortable place to dine alone with spectacular views. I had a breakfast downstairs in the restaurant and it was the best omelette I have ever tasted. Great place. I couldn't stop taking pictures of the sunrise from my bedroom window
I really missed having a coffee maker in the room. When you stay alone in a new part of town it can feel daunting to venture out for a coffee fix - without, well having had a coffee!
I loved this hotel. The staff was excellent - EVERYONE! The location is outstanding. Room was clean and spacious. I would have preferred a comfortable chair to a café table and chairs.
Hotel is VERY expensive. Lots of private parties and weddings so common areas are noisy and crowded. In addition, Bar Blondeau is frequently closed due to private parties. These inconveniences warrant the room prices being reduced. Not a good value.
Love the decor, the restaurant(s), the cozy pillows & bed and the convenient location.
Did not like having a room that faced the local night club, as it was very loud until quite late.
Good location
Room was tiny and had no closet to hang my formal dress.
The food at the Wythe was very good! Loved the Blondeau bar. The the view from the Blondeau bar is amazing! Great happy hour and attentive staff at the bar. Everything was clean and tidy in our room. The room was very nice and the shower was wonderful, and the bed very comfortable!
I was disappointed to have been given a room with a brick wall view especially when I asked for a water view and especially for the price! We ended up going to the front desk and they gave us a "city" view....mostly rooftops but much better than a brick wall! I'd suggest to only give that room as a last resort. The bed was VERY comfortable but the room could use some comfortable chairs to sit in and it would be nice to have coffee provided in the room. However, overall the room and hotel was very nice and I would stay there again!
Great location and very clean. The rooms were nicely sized and the staff was very helpful
Spacious, clean, super comfortable
Lovely bar, nice enough room
Room a bit bare
We had dinner & breakfast at the hotel. Food & service was excellent although menu is overpriced. Bar upstairs was lovely, drink selection nice, view great.
Concrete floors in the rooms are COLD in winter!! I personally can’t stand showers that I have to be standing under when I turn them on. Who doesn’t regulate the water temp first before getting in? NO ONE.
Excellent location for Brooklyn Bowl shows.
Lots of money for a room with no coffee maker and a very drippy shower and no bottled water (or water station) provided
Location was convenient for us. Lots to do in the area. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The restaurant was great. I believe the bar on the 6th floor was booked both nights for an event so we didn’t get to see it (didn’t realize that before we stayed). The door staff was very friendly!
I had submitted a request for extra pillows upon booking that I had to ask for again at the front desk. Separately, I used the room phone to call the Room Service number one evening (maybe 9pm) and received no answer. I then called the front desk and the person who answered was unsure when the restaurant closed (11), then put me on hold and never came back—it went to voicemail?! I expected a call back to my room and didn’t get one.
I had a great stay overall. The staff was genuinely wonderful—friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food was incredible, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I also loved the bathroom amenities; everything felt thoughtfully chosen and high-quality. The location was convenient and made getting around very easy.
My only complaint is the noise. You can hear everything through the walls. Standard conversations from the neighboring room sounded like they were happening right next to me. The hotel does offer earplugs upon request, but the sound transfer was significant enough to impact the stay.If you’re a light sleeper, keep this in mind. Otherwise, it’s a lovely hotel with fantastic service and amenities

The hotel has character. Nice but not stuffy. Good location.
Expensive.
The hotel staff were absolutely lovely and helpful. And the location is excellent - right int he heart of Williamsburg!
Very overpriced with very few amenities - basic rooms, no pool (similarly priced hotels near by have a pool). The staff in the ground floor resturant were rude and snobby - very different from the rest of the staff.
Building re-purposing from old warehouse to modern facility is really well done. Well located in Brooklyn. Excellent food in the restaurant and room service menu.
All good
