    Pros +

    • It was super close to the location I needed to be in. It looks nice on the pictures but much more worn out in reality. The kingsize bed was true to size and room had enough space.
    • I like the theme. I m a singer so I love the play on words.
    • This Hotel is Horrible! It is NOT a 3 star; it is more like a 1 star! The staff; was not Professional. I made a cash deposit; and they would not give me a receipt. The furniture; In the room was old and damaged. This hotel; should be Black listed!

    Cons -

    • Furniture was old, there was durt, dust, stains on the wall. I wasn't even sure about sheets being fresh. Elevator in the hotel is the scariest and the slowest in the world
    • Thelady in front desk,I ask about the parking lot because it was empty the lady reply it was $25, when I return there was a gentleman, I ask him he also told me 25 not until I comment they didn't accommodated handycap. He told me to park lot was empty.
    • There was not anything I disliked, its just nature of NYC hotels. Most of them are not in the best shape. You do not go there to really luxuriate. Its a place to sleep.

Called 3 times day of reservation and no one picked up. Our room was in the basement, next to the open staff break room, with eye-level views of a dumpster. After paying, staff told me the room would be half the price the next day (I'd been ripped off).

    1Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 5-14-2019

I liked only the pictures on the website. Nothing else is there to like about this hotel.

The room had no curtain. The room phone wasnt working or plugged in. No ice bucket Available (a small thin plastic bag was given for me to put the ice into. Eventually it melted and flooded the area). The fire detector was falling off the ceiling.

Just the room was nice and bathroom

Yes the shower was clot. I inform the front desk the next day and was told it would be taken care of which that never happen.

The fat man behind the counter was always missing and I called the front desk 30 times to ask a question and when I went down sometimes no one was there

Front desk did not inform me that my 100$ will be put back in 5 days Very unperfessinal need new staff security was nice but need new elevators way too slow

    1DavidPosted on: 1-13-2018

    When I checked out.

Everything. Overcharged. Heat not working. Found a nail in my bed (have photos for proof). Stained sheets. Missing pillows. Asked to change rooms. New room was also missing towels and there was NO hot water at all for showering or in the sink. Awful.

    4SarahPosted on: 11-24-2017

    Not too far. Price.

Hair band and rag covered the smoke detector. Window was open. Toilet was dirty. Staff unprofessionally dressed.

    Quiet location in Brooklyn

It looks like this hotel is going broke. They do not re-supply soap in rooms, no lotion, the towels are thin and small. The hotel eliminated breakfast in the morning.

    4Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 11-5-2017

Hotel is very quiet - away from the bustle of the city while still only being 45 minutes from many attractions. The bed was comfortable.

Hotel was quite run down - scratches in the furniture, labels had rubbed off of shampoo and conditioner bottles, one ice machine in the entire hotel, only one very very slow elevator.

    1Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 6-6-2017

There is nothing which I can say to mention Best. The only thing is it's much closer to Manhattan where you can commute using subway train.

Place is surrounded by shabby environment and feels unsafe.

    6IlenePosted on: 5-22-2017

We were only there about 8 hours. Check in woman was friendly. Bell cart was readily available for our luggage. There was an ATM in the lobby.

Ithe room could have been cleaner.

    4MeganPosted on: 4-24-2017

    The bathroom was nice

There was no iron or ironing board. It was cold in the bathroom and the room was very small. I will not be coming back

    1MaryannPosted on: 2-28-2017

The location was not in the safest place. As we entered the parking area we caught a person putting something on a side door for what seemed an attempt to relented. He was not a customer nor was he an employee. Poor customer service!

    5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 1-17-2017

The location was good, two blocks away from the N/R on 36 street. However, there is not much around the hotel in terms of restaurants or retail stores. At night, it is pretty dark and can be intimidating to people not used to the area.

The hotel looks new and modern but it is not well kept. There is a rancid smell, urin-like, in the hallways and rooms. The room appears clean but walls and white furniture have scuff marks.Hotel has potential but management and staff need big improvement.

    3Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-26-2016

It was within walking distance to food places and the subway.

Staff was unorganized, loud, and smoked weed, the hallways were scattered with trash bags, our sink was clogged up and DIRTY, floor in our room was dirty, table tops were dusty. Weird that every floor had a security guard. Elevator did not work.

    2Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-7-2016

    It was in Brooklyn.

Hallway was dirty.Probably not vacuumed in few days.Sink wont drain for about 1-2 hrs.I brushed and shaved in the shower.Certainly not 3.5 star rating. Will not go again.

    1Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-6-2016

Nothing! This place is more like a hostel. It is definitely not a 3 1/2 star "hotel"

Smell of Weeds, unprofessional staffs and no bath towel. We were asked to use a "used" hand towel for our stay and the staff was using inappropriate language in front of our children. It was so bad we packed it up and left for the night.
