- This is a boarding house-- private rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen. The Junior Suite is a shared bathroom, which I missed in the description. As a woman traveling alone I did not feel entirely safe. It is labeled a B&B but there is no breakfast.
- The door on the room was broken. So I didn't feel that safe. Also. I though for a Bed and Breakfast soap and basic toiletry should have been provided. Maybe guest should be given their own set. There were some things left in the bathroom.
- $50 surprise "late fee" payable in cash (purportedly, for check-in after 10:00 p.m.) charged by the clerk. The hotel is a large house carved up into rooms - not ensuite (at least, not for the two rooms I saw).

I loved the area and the character of the place
I did not like that I had to use the same towels for my entire stay (3 nights). I did not like not being able to watch TV outside of Netflix. I did not like that breakfast as not provided.
The building is very stately.
It would help a great deal if there were more explicit arrangements for dealing with the manager, upon both arrival and departure. It worked out for us, but somewhat lucky that people happened to be around when we needed them.
It's character. It is a quiet, charming place that feels like a person is coming home at the end of a day.
