Pros +
- Perks abound - Excellent breakfast included daily, complimentary bottle of wine when we checked in, convenient to subway/Manhattan
- This was the nicest, coolest and cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. Very highly recommended.
- I hated this hotel. The customer service and lack of understanding was the worst. They were money hungry and took advantage of a bad situation.
Cons -
- The staff was the most unaccomodating staff I have ever delt with.
- The staff were u professional, rude. I arrived at 2pm from a long travel day for a 3pm check in and asked the front desk person if it was possible to check in a little early to my room. He flat out said no, check-in is at three. By the way, I am visibly 7mo pregnant and was hoping to elevate my feet. I said it would be ideal to check in a little bit early since I suspect some rooms may be ready as checkout is at 11. He kept repeating check-in is at three. Finally, he got fed up with me asking and called the housekeeping staff, and of course, a room was ready, and I was able to check in. In the morning, breakfast is advertised starting at seven. Both mornings I was there, I went down at 7:30, and staff said the restaurant was not yet open. They said I could take a coffee to go. The coffee the first morning was cold so the staff member put it in the microwave for two minutes, which is pretty gross. The second morning, the staff member seemed annoyed and couldn’t find any tops for the to go cups, ran around the restaurant frustrated. The staff could be better trained.
- Have to pay for parking but was able to park free on the street over the weekend.

It was fine, did the job

I love the staff they are so very warm and welcoming. I love the cleanliness of the rooms and the ambiance of the restaurant. The Food is delicious major compliments to the Chef and restaurant Manager!!!
The staff were so helpful. Thank you Marco, Ricardo, and Yaro!
Have to pay for parking but was able to park free on the street over the weekend.
Everything! Miguel, who was one of the two guys at the front when I checked in, was super sweet and helpful. The bed was extremely cozy - the room had so many mirrors!! (Girlies, you’d love this spot) The location was central to a ton of cute bars and coffee + breakfast shops. Getting to LES from here was a breeze. I will be staying here again. ⭐️
The only complaint is housekeeping kept knocking on my door every morning, even when my DND sign was on. The first day they knocked 3 separate times
I liked everything about the property except when it snowed nobody shoveled from the front of the building to the back of the building where we could get our car we had to walk to the snow
I didn't like that nobody snow shoveled from the front of the building to the back of the building where you park your car
Great location for exploring Brooklyn and Manhattan. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable bed. Good room service. Nice touches like complimentary wine.
Rather too quiet but no doubt was the time of year - end of Jan. Lots of snow.
Well appointed. Helpful staff. Nice clean room. Interesting on site restaurant and location near elevated train. Easy street parking at no cost.
We had to change rooms first night. The rooms near the mechanical service room by the elevator are extremely disruptive and noisy to sleep.
This was an amazing stay, the restaurant Black Bird is exceptional and the food and drinks were amazing! A close second were the most comfortable beds and spacious king size suite. The staff were incredible and the location was perfect
We had one issue with our heating unit the 3rd day of our stay but we were quickly changed to another room with no problems.
Loved the location! Felt like a residential neighborhood but still close to shops and restaurants.
I mean, always looking for a jacuzzi. Everything was great!
Good
Food and bar service was not good. People were good. The breakfast was awful. Ran out of stuff for mixed drinks
We enjoyed the continental breakfast and it was good.
We had dinner in the Blackbird and while the food was good, the wait staff was terrible. They couldn't figure out the offer that had been emailed to me but made it work. The bar tender and server spent their time at the bar such that three times I had to leave my table to go to the bar to get their attention. After nearly 30 minutes, our appetizer came out with our entrees and my entree was just warm. The salmon was served on the heating tray without anything else but was quickly taken back to the kitchen to be plated properly. The sad part is that the food was very tasty and properly prepared but the wait staff did not have a clue. That disconnect ruined what could have been a great dining experience.
yummy
We were confused by the offer of free breakfast on our arrival? Did we misunderstand? After breakfast the waitress said, a part was for free. On checking out, we had to ask for it. Seemed strange.
Hotel is quiet, clean - rooms are surprisingly large for New York. Location is super walkable, if you have a car parking is easy.
Great value, great staff, good location. Nice spacious room.
Only wish a bit closer to central Williamsburg.
It was clean, the vibe wasn’t over the top but perfect for the solo traveler. The gym and the comped breakfast items were also great. Ashley at the front desk really made my stay what it was. I came to celebrate my birthday and she made me feel so welcomed and acknowledged from beginning, middle, and end. She’s a total pro and because of her, I will be coming back.
The comped breakfast items could a have been a little better but not a dealbreaker
Location. That is it.
Staff couldn’t have cared less. Bare minimum hotel. The price is basically robbery and for a roof with a bathroom. No room cleaning, no amenities, view of the train tracks, I don’t really get it but I did get to sleep when I needed.
