    Cons -

    • Didn't like having to pay for parking. Area didn't feel safe for walking. Bar food only available- no restaurant. Three miles from places to get food, and the drive to get there was a bit challenging. No microwave
    • I had black hair in my bathroom sink and black hair on the bathroom floor. The price for one night was over $--- I had no toothpaste. Just the little things for that price would be nice.
    • Original room I was given seemed like someone had smoked in the room. They changed my room with no fuss. I was surprised to be charged for parking that was not valet, had no CCTV and no security. Just bright lights.

the cookie and the renovated room

the incomplete renovations/construction that I did not know about until I arrived. the police sirens going all night (location of hotel). the tv channels being wrong

    8Verified guestPosted on: 2-3-2026

    hot tub

the construction at 7am right above our room that sounded like they were just dropping golf balls onto hard wood, like actually. also the stoner working overnight at the counter was very rude and definitely stoned, i know from extensive experience haha.

-Breakfast staff wasn?t very impressive -Rooms were filthy

Pet friendly. Good parking and gym. Hotel restaurant is convenient and offers good selection of foods. Nice views of downtown and river.

Some inconvenience from having one elevator under repair.

    Bedding was nice

Jets in whirlpool didn't work. Whirlpool was the reason I picked this location. I would have spent way less elsewhere if I knew this.

Hmmmm. Not much to like. But the beds were comfy.

It said a continental breakfast was included but when we went the employees were clueless- they said NO ITS NOT AND YOU MUST PAY. I didnt feel like arguing and just left. That was very very annoying. Why did they give us such a difficult time.

I like the fact that I could go from the Gigis gala to my room . The room was very spacious

Elevators under construction MSDE ease of coming and going a challenge

Can't say much nice about the hotel except the television worked well.

Kitchen closed due to some unexplained issue with kitchen. Loud dogs barking, there needs to be a pet free floor. Seems that some rooms are used for parties, loud music and people roaming halls all night. No parking, seems like this was due to a wedding.

    9MarilynPosted on: 10-16-2024

The staff are amazing. They were bright and cheery, answered all my questions and made us feel really welcome.

The drive into the hotel. I came from the not so nice direction so I was a little worried about the security but the front desk assured me that there were security guards that walked the grounds every hour and I never felt unsafe.

The carpets seemed old and needed replacement.

The evening staff at the fitness center was rude.

    Nice Hotel overall.

Room was not Handicap accessible as advertised, and had continuous problems with the AC from day one. Finally moved us on the last night because they couldn't fix it. Found some spiders in the room !

The beds were extremely comfortable, with excellent pillows. Effective blackout shades too. My teenage sons were thrilled with how well they slept.

It's not in a great neighborhood, but it's also just a few minutes from the highway.
