- Cute motel, comfortable bed, it was a good location for my weekend plans. All I really needed was a bed and a shower and it was clean and the water pressure was good. The to-go breakfast was a nice addition.
- Diamond in the rough. Definitely a cottage atmosphere. Took quite a while for the water to get warm but it did. Rustic for sure and country living. So if you're in to luxury accommodations this place isn't for you. Very comfortable.
- Location and value! Great value near Houghton College. The Saturday and Sunday hot breakfast was delicious.
Cons -
- TV didn't change channels.
- The room was a little dark. It could use additional lamps. Also, the Wi-Fi connection was working sporadically. The staff are aware of the problem and trying to make upgrades The instructions for log-on did not match the prompts when attempting to log-on.
- It smelled musty, not the cleanest but satisfactory, there were cobwebs and spiders in the corners, we couldn''t get the tv to work. I would stay again but only if there were no other options
