Red Carpet Inn Elmwood Park

I didn’t like how the room looked, it looked unclean and there was hair in the tub and it was not mine. I had just gotten to the room and already noticed how unsanitary it was. Bed sheets were gross.

the rooms are almost clean accept long women hair throughout all linens and towels and floors need to be mopped

the bathroom tub had no stopper so i could not take a sit down bath and the hair on the towels and linen

It¿s convenient

I felt like they used used sheets just by reversing them! I didn¿t have any sheets on top of my fitted sheets. They rushed us out the door immediately at 11 even though I was just making sure I was getting all my stuff together. There was a roach in hall

Very nice atmosphere from check in to check out. The only issue is limitation on when only reserving a room is only option. It's best to also give option to pay in full.

I could not check in room at moment in the same day I needed one. Rooms only show availability next day at 3pm-,11am Members should have option if there are vacancies when he/she arrives as a VIP upsell.

It was very close to The Excelsior. I was in town to attend a wedding so the location of Red Carpet was fantastic.

The hotel offered a free continental breakfast. Nice, except that the breakfast tables were in the front lobby next to front door/check-in desk, and the staff was cleaning up while we were trying to eat.

The price was much better than similar hotels in the area; it turned out to be a great alternative to staying closer to (or in) the city. The hotel was clean and there was seemingly secure parking near the doors to allow easy load in.

The staff was very short and not very helpful, including the owner who checked us in. The power went out for a short period of time later at night. The room was small.

Dirty place

Extremely dirty, they do not vacuum the place. From the entrance to the stairs to the hallways to the room... all is filthy dirty.

Everything were broken or falling apart in the room, for a non smoker place stunk

Nutting everything was bad

Dirty,bad experience, they came and try to open my door 2 times during the night

I had to wear my flip flops to take a shower. The bed was dirty. It seems like they don’t clean the

My stay was okay

The property was okay but they need to upgrade the room. There were no hangers or iron in the room but I know it will never change because I been here before a couple of years back in the same room it still the same so it doesn’t make since saying what I didn’t like about the property.

no hot water . booked a smoking room with 2 beds. they gave me single king non smoker . smh.

The place is was dirty !!! Mole in the bathroom and stains on the lines. I had to request another room

Clean the place so it can be more acceptable for people to stay

Hade bed bugs

It had bad buds .and I informed the manager and he was Nonchalant about it

Proximity to NYC

Disgusting facility. Felt like a hotel for “hourly” use. Checking in through the glass / bullet resistant wall was my first sign. The room I had likely hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned or updated since 1993.

Worst place to stay

Not suitable for family. Rooms and common areas full of smoke and not clean.
