Comfort Inn Edgewater on Hudson River

The location of the hotel is beautiful it’s right by the water and the skyline is gorgeous at night.

The breakfast was frozen eggs and sausage unfortunately.

The location was perfect. The staff excellent.

The bathroom door could not close properly. It was larger than the opening. Also the safe had tape in it to keep the batteries in place. It was also stuck open and did not work properly.

The location next to the water and close to restaurants.

Safety in the parking lot area. Also the fact that they only have Orange juice at breakfast and no bananas was less than desirable but made do.

Hotel was clean, in a very nice area, had an excellent view from the waterside.

I booked a Balcony room to enjoy the view of the Hudson and NYC. My balcony faced the hotel's parking lot. Could not be more disapointed.

It was outdated,smelled a bit musty, and our TV didn't work.

Some of the reviews were misleading, I¿m glad I took the risk. The breakfast buffet was enough for us. Overall, the hotel met our needs and expectations- clean, comfortable rooms, quiet environment, free breakfast and great customer service.

The balcony .

The blanket looked like someone ate it or ripped it washed it over n over. Bathroom was dirty. I didn¿t sleep till 5 am due to the noise. I will not ever stay there again .

Close to work, but still in a weird location.

The sheets were sticky and black hairs were on the sheets. Disgusting.

Clean and decent size continental breakfast. Friendly staff-called us a cab in the morning.

There is no privacy in your room in regards to the windows. Can not draw the shades shut and the light flooded the room in the morning.

No elevator to the second floor. We had to carry all the luggage. A long and big bug came out of the room. Compare to the quality, it was over-priced. Too many cats in the parking lot. Parking lot was full and very small.

Kind of far. Few food choices around if you have no car.

The free breakfast and staff tending to the breakfast area were outstanding.

Room was located close to the back door. Every time someone went in or out, the door slammed and constantly woke me up. Also the construction crews starting their work and noise in the parking lot right outside my window did not help my sleep situation

Perfect location for my needs and there is a nice view outside the hotel.

My room was adjacent to the lobby and I could hear everything going on in the lobby while I was in the room. Also, the remote did not work properly so I had to get the desk person to help.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is just 25 min by bus to Times Square. We had a nice, clean room facing the Hudson River, and hot breakfast was included with our stay.
