Waterside Resort

Very spacious and clean accommodations for the price

It is a little remote of its location which I will keep in mind for a future stay.

Cleanliness

The special rules for “resort.” Staff was cooperative but not friendly. The resort rules were not sent to me, I was unaware and staff told me it was my responsibility to contact them for the information which included check in times and location.

Room and staff were awesome. So helpful.

The bugs/midges. Also the birds in the garage. So unfortunate. Such a nice room and site. There is not much you can do about the midges.

The spaciousness of the unit. A marvelous, true suite.

The property was in a perfect location and the apartment was very nice with the elevator and spiral staircase. Fishing off the pier. We will definitely come back and be better prepared.

We woke up to millions of bugs on the ceiling and around the doors and windows and on both balconies there were an infestation of spiders so we couldn't sit out there.

Room was beautiful and the view was great. Great value for the time of year.

The room was supposed to have been prepared for us but we found a few spiders in the blinds and the shower.

The room was spacious and functional for any stay duration. Our view of the Sound was beautiful, making for an extra sense of comfort and relaxation. Staff was friendly and communicative, so there were no hiccups in the booking process or check-in/check-out.

The shower stall in the suite's master bathroom didn't quite seal properly where the glass door meets the glass wall, leading to minor leaks onto the bathroom floor. Available space to deposit collected trash at check-out was limited.

Everything was GREAT! Very clean, comfortable beds and well stocked! Location was perfect for a quite peaceful getaway. Too cold for the pool but the hot tub was perfect! We will return.

No complaints...but the living room furniture could be a little bigger and more comfortable.

The resort was nice inside.

The outside of the resort was gross with bugs and spiderwebs everywhere. There was a huge roach inside the kitchen that ran by when I was cooking. Looks like the outside needs pressure washed really well and sprayed with bug spray really good.

The outside of the building. It felt like in a haunted house. There was no inch with no spiders and gnats. Even Inside the elevator. It was such a horror to get to the room! I might be so bad because it’s right by the water and the time of the year but we will not come back. I can understand the gnats being a issue but the hotel needs to do something about all the spiders inside the elevator and give the hotel guest a save path to their room. If you know this is happening every year maybe instal a net or something for the hallways and balcony.

Great value. Condo itself was spotless and beautiful. Views are beautiful. Beds are comfy. Kitchen is very nice. Pool area has incredible views. Easy parking.

Exterior of the building is getting pretty weathered. Lots of bugs and rust due to location. Very wet, hot and humid so this comes with the territory. Closest store is over the bridge. Not much around except Edenton which is a small little village. Might be better in colder weather. Would not recommend in the summer.

The inside of the room was beautiful. Very clean and all that we needed.

The bugs. The outside of the resort was covered in flying non biting midges. Each time we needed to leave our room, we were swarmed by these bugs. The outside of the resort was white, but because of the bugs, it was dirty looking.This was terrifying. Also, driving around the area was terrible because your car was covered in these mosquitoe looking bugs. This, of course, was not the fault of the resort, but the resort should have informed us of the issue. After 5 p.m., there was no one working at the resort, so if there was an issue, you had to leave a message. We really like the room but would probably never return.

Some of the people that stayed there were rude at the pool and I didn’t like how they had spiders everywhere we couldn’t enjoy the balcony because of this…

Quiet Spacious unit with an awesome view And everything supplied in the unit for a great stay.

It's was home away from home very spacious living omg the kitchen amazing everything to cook with besides you have to buy your groceries beautiful sunset at night

The parking garage alot of birds and bird ? you have to travel over 10 to 15 miles to a food store or restaurant

I loved how clean the property was, the amazing ocean view from the room & plus it having a playground was great ?

Only thing I really dislike was how many bugs / gnats it was (not inside) but it’s understandable being though your right by the water

On the water. Beautiful unit!! Very spacious! Felt like home. Full kitchen and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms!

I wish it would have been a little closer to our destination, but that wasn’t any fault of the resorts.

The unit was very nice and roomy. We did not want for anything and the view was so beautiful.

Confusion about the $150 deposit and when it would be returned to my credit card.

It is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed!! I was in awe the second I opened the door! The view was breathtaking, but funny enough, I could have stayed in the suite the whole time. That view was just as beautiful! The staff was extremely nice and truly cared about my experience. I felt like we were friends before I even got there. We had talked on the phone a few times about my upcoming stay. They even called me the day of my arrival to let me know I could come earlier if I wanted to, that my room was clean and ready. I will be back! And I've already talked to a lot of my friends. I will recommend this place to everyone! My best vacation EVER!!
