Located of Interstate 77, this pet-friendly hotel is less than a 20 minute drive from Mount Airy, the birthplace of Andy Griffith. Features include a continental breakfast and free Wi-Fi. Cable TV is offered in each simply decorated room at the Surry Inn. All the rooms come with a private bathroom and air conditioning. Guests of the Zephyr Surry Inn can enjoy a beverage room the on-site vending machines. A 24-hour front desk and fax and photocopying services are available for added convenience. The scenic Blue Ridge Parkway is 20 miles from the property. The Shelton Vineyards, a 383-acre estate, is less than a 10 minute drive away.

- Availability at this location.
- Very clean.
- This is truly a hidden gem. The room, 102, was superb and clean. Staff and wife there 24/7 for anything we needed. It was so great that we immediately booked a second night even though we didn't plan to. Bonus glow in dark stars on ceiling!
Cons -
- Not really
- The beds were hard and the usb charging ports did not work.
- The fantastic diner next door was closed some days. It didn't have a breakfast but for the great price, clean room, and wonderful staff it was fantastic! Even the cleaning lady went out of her way to help us.
