Residence Inn by Marriott Charlotte Uptown

Our bathroom door was Locked somehow. They didn?t have overnight maintenance and I was told by 7am it would be fixed. 10:00 and nothing. 4 trips later and it was fixed after we left. My 4 year old son and myself had to pee in a cup. Disappointing for ----$

The Residence Inn in Charlotte Uptown offers a prime location and impeccably clean rooms. Its central positioning near the stadium makes it convenient for exploring the city.

During our stay, one elevator was out, causing long waits. Coffee and hot water were consistently unavailable outside breakfast hours. Staff response was lacking.

The room was nice but very Noisy.

Extremely noisy! It sounded like Mardi Gras in our room. Windows should be insulated. Front desk was rude and very slow. We were charged $16 for parking. We were never told there would be a charge for parking. They validated our ticket. ?

Wasn¿t informed that I was being put in a handicap room. Wasn¿t a normal shower (you had to hold it while you bathe). It had dirt spots around the mat in the shower And I¿m still trying to figure out why there was a separate charge of $50 from the hotel

The room was VERY clean and a lot more spacious than I had anticipated!

I wasn’t fond of the fact that I had to pay for parking. I’m paying almost --- for a room, and still have to pay for daily parking on top of that. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where parking wasn’t included.

I liked that it was small yet big enough, meaning good size, good amenities and ambiance without hordes of guests, just...other people. Attached parking was a bonus with unlimited go and return. Overlooks the Charlotte Knights park.

I do not enjoy staying in downtown Charlotte due to horrible noise levels on weekends. Clubs, hot rods make a downtown stay torture. This location is just far enough away to be an easy walk, with much less noise. Beware fun-runs that kick off at 845am.

The hotel was right next to the stadium where we came to watch a game. The price was cheaper than the other place we normally stay and the room was very nice. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. We look forward fo coming back next year!

The street noise was a little loud but did die down around 10:30 or so.

First room assignment was horrific. Foul smell that would make a goat choke. Staff worked quickly to give me a new room. Kudos.

I like the location of this hotel also the breakfast is great too. The staff was very courteous and helpful.

In my opinion there was nothing wrong with my stay there. it's a five star quality hotel.

The bartender didn't know how to make a dirty martini. We had our small dog with us (I blame my wife), and while the hotel is pet friendly, it was a substantial additional cost of $100 for the pooch to be there

Would like to see gluten free and dairy free options at breakfast, would like to see rooms get rid of hide-a-beds and just have 2 beds. But there wasn't really anything that we didn't like.

The size. The hotel was very clean and the staff very professional.

Walking distance to the Time Warner Cable Arena and really Mellow Mushroom pizza restaurant.

Parking garage was a little difficult. But, it was affordable.
