Courtyard by Marriott Charlotte Southpark

The location can?t be beat. Centrally located in beautiful Charlotte. Restaurants and shops all around.

It is a little dark. Needs more and brighter lightning.

My room was very clean and comfortable.

No room service, no complimentary breakfast, bistro closes too early... no chef available..WiFi didn't work so I couldn't work

The service was amazing and the room was very clean. The location is great with lots of good food and fun activities very close.

Location.

I was awoken at 5 am with a remediation company making loud noises right outside my door. When I got up part of my room was flooded. Later I had to change rooms and was late to an appointment.

Quiet and clean. Bed was very comfortable. We liked being able to park right outside our room. They also have carts at the door for you to bring your luggage.

No free breakfast. They did have a refrigerator and coffee pot. Not a lot of Handicap Parking.

Location. Close to the mall.

The shower was so dirty! The coffee maker was also very dirty.

The location and having the staff give suggestions about where to visit. There was also an older man working when I arrived and he gave me a map and physically wrote where stores, places to visit and explained the restaurants on the map. Such a huge help!

Staff was very friendly and seems eager to be helpful.

Room we were assigned had a dirty towel on the back of the bathroom door. Other than that, it was clean enough.

Front desk was nice and great location. Also nice to park for free.

The room smelled like smoke. I had to wash everything immediately and air out my bag when I got home because everything I took smelled like cigarettes. Very gross and unacceptable. Also, we had people all around us, not spaced out, so it was very loud.

I was only here for a quick overnight stay, the room was clean, bathroom was nice, it lacked a little of the extra toiletries that are normally present but nothing major.

I can't understand why a Courtyard version of Marriot, that is generally designed for working travelers, did not have an in room coffee maker.. That was quite baffling to me since it had a mini fridge..

Newly renovated rooms

Hard to know upon arrival if the hotel was actually the hotel, there was no sign on the building and minimal lights. Receptionist stated that that had finished renovating the inside and were now refurbishing the exterior, so should be updated soon Im sure

The construction but its temporary

Didn’t feel comfortable being in the hotel the first night there. The hotel was virtually empty. This was especially bothersome because of the way the hotel was built. It was a little scary being off in a separate wing away from the lobby. Bad mattress

Charges to my credit card with no service or expense. Charges $30 were later credited back to my card.

room smelled like wet pet hair / i didn't report it was way late and i dealt with it but not happy about it

Staff was accommodating when issues came about.

First room had a terrible odor. There were men working on the room when we first arrived.

Great staff. Clean. Well maintained. I will absolutely return.

Pool was outdoors, not indoors. Limited no cost amenities.

Old,no elevator. Very long walk to room.

Clean. Comfortable. Friendly staff. Good location. Would definitely stay again.

It was quiet and the bed was comfortable

The air conditioner did not work properly. No matter how low I dropped the temperature, it would barely come on at night and it was humid in the room. Not good considering it was 100 degrees outside.
