Aloft by Marriott Charlotte City Center

I requested a refund so I could stay somewhere else due to the condition of the room and lack of service, but that was not an option. I was forced to stay despite the issues.

Stained sheets and pillowcase. Waited over 2 hours for extra towels and sheets, then had to go to the front desk. The towels were still damp, so we bought our own. Very disappointing.

The coffee in the room was not good and wasn't enough for 2 cups...and fresh coffee downstairs was not available for the first two days. Wished there had been a microwave so we couldn't bring leftovers back to room

Its modern and kinda cool.

I was on the 8th floor byt it sounded like I was sleeping in the middle of the intersection on the road. SO loud, all night. The hotel parking cost me $67 for 2 nights. When I checked in they did not tell me to valet park. I self parked and that cost $42

My sink had a slow drain and the bathroom door stuck a couple of times.

Dirty hall, dirty elevator. Had to take two elevators to get to floor. Expensive pet fee

My sink flooded the bathroom floor , it smelled and my Tv did not work . I let them know soon as I checked out , and stated I reach out to you guys but I couldn?t get any help from you all , I reach out to them to speak with a manger nobody answered

The staff was extremely nice and the hotel room was nice roomy and clean. We visited bar in the lobby and the experience was great. Everything exceeded the star rating

The restroom toilet was very low and we had problems with it flushing.

Old and needs a deep cleaning in the shower. Door to toilet didn?t close all the way. Toilet not private enough for someone standing at the sink and someone using toilet at same time.

I liked the location of the hotel and the drybar products

i have stayed in multiple aloft hotels and a common theme in all of them is that the doors to the bathroom do not close well. This was the same in this one. This makes it extremely difficult to shower and use the bathroom in peace.

Horrible! Bathroom door would not close as it's basically dragging on ground very hard to pull hurt my back while doing so. No Microwave hotel room dirty and that little so called bathroom sink was clogged water kept backing up barely brushed my teeth.bad

My daughter and I used the pool table quite a bit. This was a fun evening activity

The front desk looked a bit unorganized and unprofessional. I found parking at $30 a day a bit pricey

Clean and easy to get around downtown and area felt safe in the area.

Price for parking HVAC unit was noisy

The location of the hotel was great as far as it was located downtown.

The parking for the hotel was not great and the cleanliness of the hotel was lacking, especially the lobby.

Excellent room, great location, secure

I'd like a continental breakfast at this price point.

Did not like the taking elevators to 5th floor to check in elevator broke so we had to stand in a line for long period of time Door on room not secure anyone could have found a way to get in and kidnap us No complimentary breakfast

¿Breakfast included¿ was a bagel and Pepsi. Chick-fil-A around the corner at my own cost was a much better option

Location and cleanliness was excellent

We sat at the bar for ten minutes Friday night. there were only 6 other people there. the bartender wouldn't even acknowledge us. Multiple people came up after us and got served but we never did.

The location is about as good as it gets. The room was bland but clean and the bed was comfortable. I really enjoyed the lobby area. Had a very modern feel with a bar, pool table and a shuffleboard. Lots of comfortable seating an pretty good specials.

The hallways felt kind of dingy and extremely hot. I understand it would cost a lot to AC the hallways, but it wasn't the best first impression to walk into a sauna before reaching your room. I have a big truck and could barely get it in the parking deck.

Location is great! Comfortable beds, nice room layout.

Rude front staff (one of them). Place seemed a little dirty. I had stayed there a few years ago and was so impressed. I was a little embarrassed that I took my sister in law and told her how amazing the place was, so modern and clean, but not so this time
