    Pros +

    • It was near the river.
    • Cozy
    • The cabin was cozy, clean, and well appointed. The cabin was 100 years old and has a rustic charm. The setting was beautiful..it sat on the banks of the French Broad River. The cabins are close to Pisgah National Forest and the Biltmore Estate.

    Cons -

    • The floor was dipped in the bedroom. Under the bed hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There was an empty plastic water bottle and it was very dirty. It was different in that it was old. I wasn’t expecting up to date cabin, but for the price I wouldn’t
    • 1 towel, 1 washcloth each and a hand towel to share. No bath soap. No response to request for additional. Poor parking. Outside lights and flashlight didn't work. Cabins may be different than hotels. Come prepared with your own supplies.
    • There was no daily maid service. I'm self-sufficient, just didn't realize that when we booked.

Lovely location by the river. Very quiet. Cabins were cute and comfortable.

    Clean , beautiful and quiet.

    I loved it all.

We weren’t as close to the water as I expected but there where wildflowers that were planted that made it a lovely setting

Thought there was firewood available but didn’t find any.

Cabins were extremely well stocked. Very beautiful, serene location. About 15-20’ drive to Asheville.

I wish I was able to tell from the listing just what was included in the kitchenette, I would have taken more of an advantage of it!

    View and location

The sauna could have bn cleaner and our porch and jacuzzi had not be cleaned. Beautiful property but cleanliness was not up to par

Although is rained two out our three days we were able to walk the grounds with our dog, enjoy the hot tub, sauna and peacfulness of the property. Very clean, property was maintained very very well.

    We had no dislikes.

Wonderful location, right on the river. Also very close to downtown Asheville and lots of nearby restaurants.

    Bed wasn't the most comfortable.

    9SaraPosted on: 7-19-2025

The cabin and location was beautiful. The inside was comfortable and felt like home away from home, actually able to cook dinner and watch the sunset from the porch. Hot tub was heaven sent. Perfect getaway weekend.

Couch was uncomfortable and no indoor chairs. We had to walk out the front door and around the cabin to the hot tub,, wish there was a way down from the back porch to the hot tub.

    10DustiPosted on: 7-9-2025

The view of the river was amazing. We felt like we were out in mature, yet in a few minutes we were exploring downtown asheville.

I wish you could walk along the river a bit, or hang out on a bench.

    9JeanettePosted on: 6-3-2025

Area was beautiful. Room was just enough to enjoy a quiet peaceful break.

the Hot Tub was great but no access from the back porch was a minor negative for us

We absolutely loved our stay in the tiny cabin by the river! It was the perfect cozy escape. The cabin was clean and well-maintained, and the location was fantastic. We enjoyed the sounds of the river and the peace and quiet it provided. The cabin was small, but it was so charming and well-designed, enough 2 people and a king size bed. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing getaway!

Suggest to get a small vacuum or broom for cabins. Just didn’t like not being able to clean the floors while staying or before leaving.

    8LoriPosted on: 5-26-2025

. Love that it was close to the river and the camp grounds were nice and quiet.

This was a nice place with great potential with a little clean up. Love the concept but the microwave didn’t work it looked like it was about to fall and the door to the master bedroom didn’t stay closed and you couldn’t lock it. Besides that we had a good stay

    6KatiePosted on: 4-16-2025

Cabin was cute, but I was disappointed with the location and view from the cabin. We expected a little more isolation and beautiful view from our cabin, but the pictures listed are very misleading. We had another cabin right next to us blocking our view of the river, and the big bed window had a great view of the other cabins across from us. The property got washed away by the river, so the scenery wasn’t pleasant. Then there was the tv issue, all the cabins share the same Netflix account, so we got bumped off of our movies constantly. We couldn’t figure out how to work the indoor fire place, and we received no response when I reached out to ask. The listing also states there is a stove, but it was a hot plate, but we made do. The mini fridge is very mini. We weren’t able to bring home any leftovers as they wouldn’t fit. So don’t plan on bringing a lot of food unless you have a cooler.

Can’t get closer to glamping on a river! Great “tiny house” fully appointed with comfy big bed, tv, kitchenette, fabulous bathroom! We used the fabulous firepit, too! Big scenic windows!

Great communication with Asheville River Cabins. By the river and close to Sierra Nevada Brewery. It was clean inside the tiny home. Fun to stay in.

It was a little confusing where to drive down to where we stayed. More signage with numbers could help.
