    Pros +

    • Not much!
    • Location
    • Good bed. Classy towels. Good breakfast.

    Cons -

    • Yes! The bedroom floor was dirty like it was unswept, the air conditioner did not work properly, the front desk could hardly speak or understand English, the breakfast was subpar at best, gravel instead of asphalt to the front door.
    • The cabin reeked of kerosene/heating oil the entire time we were there. We kept all the windows open, which helped a little. The toilet in the powder bath kept running; we had to reset the ?flapper? each time. Staff were no help w/ these issues.
    • The room upstairs was very squeaky...could not sleep.

    Great location, Clean room.

Two things. We could never get the air condition to turn down at night, we had to sleep the window open. Secondly, Lots of hand written rules. For example: A note on the elevator prefers you to use the stairs between 10 pm and 7 am.

    It was a clean facility.

I had a wonderful experience at the Wagon Wheel Hotel! The front desk gentleman was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He enthusiastically recommended both a Chinese restaurant and a Western one nearby — and both turned out to be absolutely delicious. The next day, I even came back to the hotel just to use the Wi-Fi to finish some assignments, and he was still so kind and welcoming. He even offered me a freshly cut orange! Such a small gesture, but it really made my day.

Our room was a good size and clean, and our bed was comfortable. We also liked the location.

Breakfast was just okay--area was too small. Room frig needs to be defrosted on a regular basis (may have inadequate ventilation).

    Location was great.

Very outdated. Pictures on the website were deceiving. Toilet handle was broken almost cut our fingers.

Recently stayed here while on a 6,000 mile cross country trip. My family of five had been staying primarily in HInnXpress properties we’re accustomed to hot breakfasts. We were so pleasantly surprised and impressed with the quality of the “FREE” breakfast offered here. The hotel room was clean and the staff was friendly helpful and attentive. Hopefully this review finds you when you need a push in the right direction. I would totally stay here again.

    The property was excellent

Amazing breakfast, fresh fruit, friendly staff/host, good shower & beds...

Nothing that I can think of.

Location is great. Bed is comfortable. Staff is helpful and friendly. Bathroom is clean.

Breakfast is a bit boring. Same kind of fried egg and potatoes are served everyday. Shower is not quite steady in temperature.

Located in west Yellowstone, easy to get in national park

No room service at all, no towels change, no bathroom clean Small Chinese tour group stay, and crowded while breakfast time

    9LisaPosted on: 9-28-2024

The hotel looked updated, our room had new carpet, new paint, new laminate and the bathroom looked new and updated.

They need to install grab bars by the tub and bath strips to avoid falling. We are older and noticed this was lacking for safety purposes.

    7JanetPosted on: 9-26-2024

Location was fine; it was a little distance from the main drag which meant the hotel was quiet, which we appreciated. The room was clean (breakfast not so much - see below)

Breakfast was so-so. The bread and bagels were left in the bags and guests had to stick their arms inside to get a piece. Eww.
